Clear medium red amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, nutty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Bitternes is nutty and malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle 081129. Beautiful aroma of oranges, coriander, lemon, apricots and sweet malt. Flavor begins with full rounded maltiness but then takes a turn to becoming surprisingly bitter. Comes out unbalanced with that nutty, grassy bitterness at the end. Kalli (502) - Falun, SWEDEN - DEC 10, 2008
Sweetish malts and hops on aroma.
Mild roasty flavours and a hint of smoke to go with nice, rounded malts although not so full-bodied. Finishes off with lovely hopping that mostly takes over the flavour but still quite delicate.
Class act this is. A nice winter session ale. Ljunkan (530) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - DEC 10, 2008
Pours a darkbrown color with a nice beige head. Some lacing. Aroma of caramel, toffee, citrus, pine needle and apricot. Flavour is first of all hoppy. There is notes of grapefruit, pine needle, a bit of grass. Some caramel too. It ends with a good bitterness. Mouthfeel is maybe not that filling, the body is medium and with medium carbonation. A highly drinkable beer from Oppigårds. They truly make good beers, though they seem too stay at the same level all time. You will not get dissapointed, neither surprised. At least I havent...

Pours a deep dark ruby copper with a thin, beige head. Sweet malty aroma with lots of caramel, burnt sugar, spice, pine, molasses, and dark fruits. The taste is full bodied and rich without being overpower. Nice bready, earthy notes with pine and grass hop, sweet caramel pine, and subtle but sturdy spices throughout. I like it a lot. It tastes much beefier than 5.3%, but in a very good way. A sipper that won’t get you hammered. thewolf (12603) - Kolding, DENMARK - DEC 9, 2008

[thank you, myrup]
Pours nutty brown with a great, off-white head - almost looking like dirty whipped cream. Fine duration and lacing. Great bready malts aroma, some pine hops and general sweetness. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is lovely ashy, some roasted notes, good pine hoppiness and dryness. Really lovely and refreshing with plenty of hops to warm.
Bottle. Pours a nice red color. Aroma is hoppy with lots of grapefruit notes and some malt. Taste is hoppy with lots of citrus notes and some cloying sweetness. A bit unbalanced but still good! Linnet (1834) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - DEC 6, 2008

Bottle from Systembolaget.
Smells like an american pale ale. The body is thin. The taste is a bit dry with yeast and some pine.
