Bottle, bought @ Systembolaget, Malmö.
[thank you, myrup]
Pours nutty brown with a great, off-white head - almost looking like dirty whipped cream. Fine duration and lacing. Great bready malts aroma, some pine hops and general sweetness. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is lovely ashy, some roasted notes, good pine hoppiness and dryness. Really lovely and refreshing with plenty of hops to warm.

Doesn’t look like much, laggerish light after initial foam.Somewhat cheesy aroma. The taste is somehwhat hoppy and refreshing. A natural casklike carbonation. Bit of light lemonlime aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel.

Meilby (11495) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 18, 2015
Bottle 500ml @ Geokkjer
Pours clear amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits and grass. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long malty, caramel and fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

hopscotch (11078) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - SEP 18, 2012
Bottle... Clear dark-orange ale with a small, fizzy, off-white head. Good retention. The aroma is full of all kinds of malty, fruity, doughy goodness - chocolate chips, white cake batter, strawberry jam (Jeff hit it right on the nose with that description), dried apricot, sugar cookie and rumors of cinnamon and resin. Full-bodied and nearly chewy with lively carbonation. The flavor offers sweet, malty notes of white cake batter, graham and cookie dough accentuated and kept in check by moderate peppery bitterness. Finishes crisp and bittersweet with a gentle kiss of acidity. Very nice.

cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 5, 2011
Bottle @ home. Pours a dark maroon body with an almost non-existent tan head. Sweet fairly dark malty aroma with hints of red licorice, cherries, and other red fruits. Low carbonated, tangy, slightly bitter, red fruity, medium malty body. Sort of sour, sweet, and brown malty finish. Not as strong of flavor as most English Strong Ale.

Clear dark reddish amber with tiny beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and hoppy notes. Flavour likewise with a bitter finish.

DuffMan (10423) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 16, 2008
Dark brown with an ecru head. Brown sugar, pecans, caramel aroma. Nutty caramel palate rounded out by vague dark fruit character. A little beguiling, but very good.

jercraigs (10365) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 17, 2007
Bottle @ Cole’s Christmas Tasting 2007. Mahogany brown body with a small beige head. Odd aroma, light fruit notes and tangy malt character. (6+) Similar fruit and malt in the flavour, light caramel notes. Average palate. Not unpleasant but fairly unremarkable.

gnoff (10336) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - JAN 26, 2007
(Draught at Bishops Arms, Västra Hamngatan, Göteborg) Clear brown color, small tan to brown head. Fresh scent with a roasted touch. Hoppy bitter taste with some roasted coffee right in the beginning and then again in the aftertaste. Nice high bitterness. Medium mouthfeel.
