Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks Max. Dark brown with a big beige head. Smell of chocolate, green coffee, soy, apples. Sweet, roasted, coffee, soy, vegetal flavors. Medium bodied, smooth texture.

Bottled from HetBierMoment.nl. Opaque black, nice dark brown head. Nose of roasted malts, coffee, licorice, chocolate, rye, oatmeal. Smooth bitter flavor, oatmeal, roasted malts, coffee, licorice, not as complex as aroma but still very nice. Lasting bitter finish. Good stuff, reminds me of the Rooie Dop brew, very well balanced.

I have bought this bottle, at the sterk, in Amsterdam and I tasted it, two days ago, at home, in Lausanne. Best before 2018, sincerly I had a good experience with this one, a solid and tasteful oatmeal stout, pleasant aromas, staying enough time to make you happy, for ever. Firstly, the color is a solid black body, opaque, thin white and brown foam, the carbonation is ok for the style. The taste has lovely notes of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, some hop , dry and mineral, typical for the style, some oat cereals, close to an imperial stout, poetic moment after the meal and two bottles of red wines, sharing in family.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 24 Feb 2018) Black colour with creamy, pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, coffee and roasted oatmeal. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, coffee, black rye bread, roasted oatmeal and a balanced cacao bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, quite dry. Really tasty and well balanced. Solid imperial stout. Very nice.

Lange (koffie)bittere afdronk. Smaken en balans zijn prima.

Gitzwart, bruine foamy schuimkraag, redelijk veel koolzuur zichtbaar.
