Bomber poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of bitter chocolate, roasted malt and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bakers cocoa, roasted malt and light earthiness with a smooth dry lingering bakers cocoa finish.

Draft at Oproer @ Beer Geeks meetup. Black color. Beige head. Aroma’s: roasted malts, light sweet, light fruity sour. Retronasal it’s sweetish, red fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet, fruity. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Long finish, roasted, moderate bitter.

33cl Bottle from Vonk. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of chocolate, oat, light veggies, alcohol, coffee, milk. Flavour is quite sweet, coffee, milk chocolate, roasted malts, bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. Decent RIS, but lacks a bit of depth imho.

Batch: 027028. BB: 05-2018. Bois et épices. Notes rôties derrière le duo sec de caramel et de chocolat. Touche fruitée. Texture mousseuse en bouche. Définitivement une contamination. Herbes? Le houblonnage n’est certainement de type américain. Douteux. Mes papilles ne se trompent pas: maladif liquide.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2017 Bottle 33cl. Ink black with a a lushly of head. Beautiful, thick substance. Aroma of malts, some chocolate and coffee. The taste is mild at first with hints of chocolate. The bitterness develops very slowly into hints of grain and coffee. Lovely!

33cl bottle at home from Bert’s Bierhuis Biltstraat, Utrecht. Nose is roasted malt, dried fruits. Body is black, head is medium, brown, frothy rocky, fully listing, fair lacing. Aroma is chocolate, mild coffee, dried berries, chocolate liquor, light smoked old wood, raisin. Medium sweet, medium bitter, hint of sour. Finish is medium lasting roasty medium bitter. Full body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Relative easy dessert beer, interesting, nice one.

Bottle, pours black with a beige head. Dark and roasty, quite roasty, with some dark fruit, more roast and booze. A bit rough, bit quite likable.
