courtesy of Dorin - light hazy amber beer under a solid creamy beige foam; light earthy aroma with metallic and sourish notes; sourish palate, moderate malt body, short earthy and gently caramelish aftertaste - bad and very surely past its prime

BACKLOG: Nice old-timey look, but im probably being duped by the bottle. Pours amber/light brown, decent retention, two finger head. Smell of dark roasted malts, a bit of nuttiness, touch of caramel. Taste follows, mainly malty, with some sweet molasses and caramel. Dry nuts, a bit of soury zestiness. Mildly bitter roasted finish, with faint earthy hops. Fizzy, light body, easy to drink, rather refreshing in a way. A decent Moldavian beer, would try it again sometime.

Shouldnt this be listed as an Altbier or something? Seems like what the name suggests. Some old oxidized copper vibe here like the green roof of Canadian Parliament. Doesnt mesh super well. Hazy brown finish. Tap poured at Beer Shop into 1L plastic bottle in Chisinau.

500ml bottle (thanks dnicolasceu). Slightly hazy dark chestnut color. Tiny size, off-white head, stays. Metallic, sweet, caramel, copper in aroma. Caramel, roast, sweet, papery taste. Horrible dry papery and dusty hop extract in aftertaste. Messy. Nope.

500ml bottle - thanks dnicolaescu!
Very sweet caramelly dark malt, almost kvassy aroma, quite nutty and papery, Cant see a BB date, but this smells and tastes quite old. Prod 07/05/16 - so this is young. In that case I like it more, because this level of nuttiness is hard to find. Taste Ive pretty much covered. Finish is very very dry, might be too dry for some, but this is just right for me.

Look: clear dark red with sparkling short living white head. Aroma: caramel, light grassy hops. Taste: light to moderate-light sweetness balanced with hoppy bitterness. Flavour; roasted, caramel, sweet dark dried fruits, spicy and grassy hops. Less sweet caramel finish. Good.

Bottle received via trade with Dorin. Poured a light brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel and some dark fruit. Light bitterness, medium sweetness. Soft carbonation, slightly oily texture, medium body. Pretty decent beer.
