Bottle, thanks to my brother! Roasty aroma with notes of chocolate and subtle hints of coconut. Pours very dark brown with a thin tan head and decent lacing. Roasted malt character up front with a hint of chocolate. Finishes clean and dry with the coconut flavor showing up subtly at the end. Pretty good, but could use more coconut. bigguns22 (809) - Maryland, USA - JUN 26, 2014
A good beer but not great needs more coconut. Pour is dark brown with a small cream color head. A very nice aroma that is more porter then anything but it has so great milk chocolate flavor but still more coconut please. Stephane_Houle (229) - - MAY 31, 2014

Bottle. Pours murky brown/black with little to no head. Aroma is coconut, misc. nuttiness, slight caramel/cocoa notes. Taste is combination of those with some faint espresso notes. Really like this guy. Opens up while it warms. Nice use of coconut - subtle but present.

Bottle from Total Wine in Jensen Beach. Pours a reddish brown with a white head leaving a bit of streaky lace. Aroma has ... caramel. Maybe a bit of earth and tabasco. Taste is of sweet caramel, brown sugar and peat, with more earthiness. Oysters? Some alcohol. Not stellar. Old bottle?? blipp (10107) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 26, 2014
