...I would rate this but it seems impossible to get in the UK, so have never actually tasted it. In my search I've even emailed the united dutch breweries to no avail. I can't help think HM govt are a factor in this sorry scenario. I do like an Oranjeboom blue 5% - it might not be the tastiest thing you ever tasted in a world of craft beers and all that, but it is what it is - reasonable, drinkable, cheap, - and sometimes I like something you can drink a good few of and on occasion that is a straight up easy drinking lager. Plus I'm a sucker for the cans. The fact you can only seem to buy it in single cans in lesser spotted neighbourhood offies (usually on a bargain deal) only adds to the mystique. The search goes on....

Als Oranjeboom Premium Strong Lager - Dock 12 Fles gedeeld met Roelzie1986, Inoven en Benzai. Het is een licht goudgeel bier. Het heeft redelijk weinig smaak.

Can - Pours a clear golden color with enough carbonation to keep a head with all the alcohol. Thick mouthfeel with a sweet apple flavor. Not good, but not awful for this high of alcohol.

Lattina.

jmgreenuk (10359) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - FEB 10, 2016
Can from a Kuala Lumpur night shop. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin broken white head and plenty of bubbles. The aroma is sweet malt, warm alcohol. The flavour is strong sweet with a smooth, rich, warm alcoholic palate. There is some alcohol burn but not as much as with other similar beers. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

50cl can shared with JMGreenUK. Very thin white head. Clear golden pour. A little sweet and too much booze.

Aroma: citrus, hay, alcohol; Appearance: pale orange, minimal head; Taste: medium bitterness, medium sweetness, slight sourness; Palate: light body, slick texture, average carbonation, abrupt finish Really soft and not boozy for this alcohol volume.
