A light interpretation of the Continental pilsner style, Oranjeboom has the full body and flavour you would expect of a lager with a heavier alcoholic content. Brewed by Shepherd Neame under licence from Brouwerij de Oranjeboom, Breda in Holland, this Gold Medal-winning 4.1% abv draught lager is perfectly placed to grow sales in the most dynamic sector of the UK lager market.

Keg tap at the new Brewhouse & Kitchen in Bedford. Yellow and clear. Film of white head. Light smell of water and porridge. Bitter corny taste. Nicely carbonated palate, I’ll give it that. I’ve had worse but fuckin hell this is average.

Draught in Rochester ; Nothing too wrong or right with this , a ’mid-card’ pale lager ... On the sweeter side of things in style context ,i like swill lager to be more bitter as the redemption for being shitty. Notes of grain, hay, cut grass, sugar , apple ester , light caramel, metal .

Keg at Lab, Leeds. Pours pale gold, white head, high carbonation. Corn aromas, light sweet taste. Astringent finish. Ok

From tap @ Savannah Café Bar, Haywards Heath. Clear pale golden color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, bitter, corn, straw. Low body, average carbonation. The only thing I loved while ticking this beer was the view of the waitress’ bosom. That was lovely, hmmm.

Keg at top secret comedy club. Pale yellow colour with small fleeting white head. Grainy stale aroma. Lager aroma. Grainy metallic flavour. Dull pale lager.

On tap in Hawkinge, Kent @The White Horse Inn. Mild, fruity taste of sweet citrus fruits and forrest. Quite sparkly and easy to drink.

On tap in Hawkinge, Kent. What a waste of time. Watery so-called beer with no aroma. Looks simple and tastes like nothing. Bad. Very bad.

ndon (857) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 14, 2011
On tap at a pub in Deal. Pours a clear gold with a small off white head. It is crisp, biscuity, with a light hop and orange rind. Apart from that, its rather dull.

downender (8729) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 8, 2009
On tap at the Freemasons Arms, London 07/06/09. Golden with a slight white head. Savoury malt lager with a touch of bitterness in the finish. Forgettable.
