This brew is golden orange and clear with a nice bubbly head. very little bitterness, slightly dry flowery flavor. Texture is light yet full in the mouth. This finishes crisp with just a touch of lingering bitterness.

From 16oz can from Trader Joes, about $1.20 per single can, poured into pils glass

Aroma: light grainy, subtle cracker

Appearance: golden, clear, white head

Taste: light bitter

Palate: crisp, clean, light body, average carbonation

Overall: Slightly watery. Crisp and light bodied. Tastes like mostly pils malt with very little hops and bitterness. Overall, not memorable. Nothing bad, just nothing there to taste.

Can from Trader Joes. Typical euro lager, very malty and kind of musty. Foamy head on pour, aroma not much, but not off either.

Can Trader Joes. Pours yellow with a white head. Nose is generic malt and some faint Euro hops. Middle is light bodied, smooth malt. Finish shows a little hoppy crispness. Not great, but better than some. I remember this being better in college...my taste has matured.

Yellow color with a white head. Grain and mild citric aroma. Moderate sweet and an ok bitterness. Average carbonation. Malty, faint citric and herbal hoppy flavor.
[Can before a football match in Rotterdam, Netherlands]

Ok, its an all malt beer with a Dutch recipe brewed in Germany. And its been around or the brewery was - its unclear. - Since 1671". Right. Not as a "blonde" pilsner. Anyway, its better than Bud with its slight sweetness and slight bitterness. If you want to impress your Bud/Coors/Miller friends, serve this. Hey, its imported and all malt. BTW, the ingredients are "Water, Barley Malt and Hops. Whats missing?

magpieken (129) - - APR 15, 2015
330ml bottle. 10.2014. Very pale gold colour. Reasonable off white head which settled to a ring and not much lacing. Fairly typical Euro lager aroma, slight grainy malt and some grass, gentle and inoffensive. Light sweetness a touch of citrus on tasting and some light bitterness in the finish. Light bodied and a very quick dry finish leave you wondering if you had a mouthful or not. 6.

GIJOE (1196) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - APR 6, 2015
Pours light yellow with a white head that fades slowly. Weak nose. Slightly malty and some skunky off-notes. Taste isnt particularly notable. Not good. Not gross. Thin, watery, fizzy, but drinkable.

Yorker (1978) - Herning, DENMARK - MAR 30, 2015
50 cl can @ home. Pours clear golden with a white head that leaves no lacing. Aroma and flavour are grains, malt, and straw - with a slightly dry finish.
