Crap, basic domestic beer, with a bit of citrus. Pours an ugly clear yellow. Smell of beer. Taste is better then bud, with some citrus, but not great in the slightest. Had in the can. User134089 (1644) - - DEC 19, 2014
Type: 16-oz. can
Glass: Modern Times pint glass
From: Trader Joe’s in La Mesa (San Diego), Calif.
Price: $5.99 for a 6-pack
Purchased: Dec. 19, 2014
Consumed: Dec. 19, 2014
Misc.: Best before May 9, 2015; Decided to try it after some random guy at the Trader Joe’s said, “I recommend this one. It’s real good. And it’s a 6-pack of pints.” Count me in.
Poured a golden, pale, clear color with five fingers of rocky, white head. Lots of carbonated bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Above average-to-good semi-layered foamy lacing along the sides of the glass. Good retention on the top all the way down. (Sight - 4.38)
Smelled honey right away, then corn, corn cereal - Kix or Corn Pops, Cheerios, hay (even light manure?), grass and faint nutty malts. (Smell - 2.50)
Initial taste wasn’t terrible. Got hay, grassy malts, honey, cereal - Corn Pops, Corn Flakes, Cheerios and Kix, light menthol and faint cooked vegetables. (Taste - 3.00)
Light body. Oily texture. Average-to-soft carbonation. Abrupt, watery finish. Somewhat refreshing. (Feel - 3.00)
I was pleasantly surprised at this beer, at least for the style. That guy wasn’t completely right, but not a bad deal for the price ($1 per 16oz.). (Overall - 3.00)

500ml can smuggled back from Dubai by Joe M, thanks for the opportunity!
Crystal clear light golden color with a smallish quickly dissipating bubbly white head that leaves spotty lace on the sides of the glass. Aromas of light pilsener malt, light earthy hop, and light fruitiness. The flavor is quite sweet with malty sugars and faint bready malts. No hop flavor, but a hint of metal of ash is in there. Better than that cape verde beer, but nothing horribly exciting. Sugram (95) - Tartu, ESTONIA - DEC 1, 2014
0,5l can. Clear light-yellow with white thick head. Aroma: grain, malt Taste: at the beginning waterly, aftertaste malty with some light bitterness, but rarely noticeable. Very light body GuideDogSaint (1394) - Xiamen, CHINA - NOV 29, 2014
500ml can from Rainbow shopping mall, Xiamen. Pours clear golden yellow with a white head. Aroma is malty. Unpleasant sharp bitter taste. Bitter sweet finish.

Some maltiness, grain, spicy carbonation, quite distinct hop aroma for standard craplager. Anyways.. way too thin, way too boring, but drinkable ochniczek (322) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 30, 2014
50cl can. gold colour, transparent. rich whitehead, not long lasting, no lacing. aroma of malts and hay. sweet taste with slight bitterness notes Daanminator (476) - Waalwijk, NETHERLANDS - OCT 26, 2014
Ondanks dat je in Nederland iedereen hoort dat het bier smerig is vind ik het behoorlijk lekker voor een pilsener. Mooie gouden kleur en witte kraag. Drinks mits lekker koud makkelijk weg. grantVEGA (4) - - OCT 15, 2014 does not count
Smelled like bleach found at a swimming pool upon first smelling it. That did it for me. Tastes ok, yet bland. Good carbonation, and not too bitter. Quite smooth actually. Just wish I didn’t smell the bleach/pool smell at the beginning. eduardovl (1426) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 14, 2014
UPDATED: DEC 16, 2014 500ml can served in a chalice.
