UPDATED: MAR 12, 2008 Bottle 25 cl. Hazy orange colour with a thin off white head. Spicy and sweet aroma and taste of sweet roasted malts, brown sugar and honey. It´s allmost vinous and very rich of taste. A bit too sweet for me but I like the way they´ve hidden the 12% alcohol. Nice prize: dkr. 12,- in Fakta so overall impression must be 12 :-) tarjei (1954) - Bryne, NORWAY - JAN 9, 2008

Comments: A toasty and extremely biscuity example. Fun, vinous and warming.
Bottle. Clear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, light hoppy citrus. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. It is very hard to find any alcoholic tast in it. 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with dense white head going into a nice lacing head. Thick barley malty and alcohol flavoured. Slight grainy. Full bodied. Malty sweet and slight metallic flavour. A bit like blood. Ends slight bitter and dried fruity malty.

Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, tasting @ yespr] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spare lacework. Light cloudy golden colour. Aroma of bread, caramel, grain, light fruity feel, peach. Nice vinous and toffee like feel. Medium to full bodied with a thick texture and a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavour. Sweet bread like finish. cab (866) - DENMARK - JUL 25, 2007
Bottel.50cl. Old fruits, alkohol sweet, taste of sweet sweet, plume and no hop-bitterness to counteract it, talk about out of balance. thewolf (12535) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUL 20, 2007
Bottle. From some SuperBrugsen. Pours a clear redish amber with a yellowish fizzy head that disappears. Aroma is heavy with lots of alcohol, caramel, bread, oranges and a slight metallic edge. Quite oily mouthfeel. Flavour is very sweet, quite clingy. Flavours begin with lots of caramel and a fruity edge. After swallowing, there is a serious warming viniousness. Perhaps too sweet and one-sided along with a probably too powerful dose of alcohol. estoves2 (98) - SWEDEN - JUL 2, 2007
Pours a dark red body.
Fizzy head thats mostly white but is little red, it is short lasting.
The body has a very beutiful color and a perfekt opacity.
Aroma is of apelsineshell and flowery hops. Small notes of cassis directly after a fast pour. Gets more alcoholic at the end.
Flavor is spicy, dried fruits.
Small notes of flowery hops, clovelike.
Very sweet and plumlike aftertaste, more than is usual in barley wines.
It is very hard to find any alcoholic tast in it.
Palate is thick and pretty harch.
This beer has a very nice balance betwen the plumlike sweetness and the hops, dont understand why it has got that low rating. Ungstrup (37291) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 24, 2007
Bottled. A deep red beer with a nice orangey head. The aroma is a bit on the light side, but what is there is sweet combined with notes of caramel, alcohol, dusty hops, peaches, and some over ripe fruits. The flavor is very sweet and quite powerful with strong notes of caramel and grapefruit, and medium notes of peaches, and alcohol, leading to a sweet bitter end with notes of alcohol and grapefruit lingering around.
