COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled (backlog). Deep brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, caramel, some wooden and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is toffee, roasted malts, chocolate, some ashes and mild espresso notes to it. Thin palate.

Svart med høyt beige skum. Lukter mørk sjokolade, lakris, noe trevirke og havre. Søtlig kandis, tørket frukt, mørk sjokolade, noe kaffe og lett kort bitterhet.

Flaske 0,5 liter.

Copenhagen 23/6 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Something that looks like an mask or the caricature of a negro on the label. Not entirely politically correct. A little motto as well: "Dark and sweet as the African Night". Pours opaque dark brown with light beige head. Settles as thin patches of foam floating around. Aroma is very sweet with a lot of chocolate. Caramel and a a little citric sourness, Coffee bitterness. Light carbonation and oily palate. Taste is quite sweet as well. On the verge of being nauseating. Followed by light coffee bitterness and a little sourness. Aftertaste is bitter sweet. Those African nights certainly seems to be overwhelmingly sweet.

Roughly frothy and very welcoming ale with chocolate and a little fresh aroma. The flavor contains light coffee notes with touches of dark caramel. Chocolate Taste has not in short supply, but as a dark bitter finish that does not work too intrusive. Is given room for a fruity hop bitterness where peach especially plays a role with light spicy nuances. Good spicy and tasty shades that go well with the not too brash chocolate. Hop bitterness is tasty and long term.

Look; light brown good hue, black body. Aroma; coffee, chocolate, liquorice, grass, cocoa. Taste; soft coffee, dark chocolate, dark fruits, dryish prunes and raisins - leading to a chocolatish finish. Alright on palate. Overall as expected, easy.[50cl br btl, abv5.6%, BB151215, [email protected] Middelfart]

Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Heavy flavor of dark coffee and dry chocolate. Heavy bitterness that fills the mouth forever. Slightly bitter but good nonetheless. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Bottle bought in Denmark, Brown blackish body with beige foam. Aroma is lighter than expected and taste not as sweet or choco as stated on the label. More licorice but with a very mild bitter. Nice but not super

UPDATED: FEB 20, 2017 Overraskende god porten fra Ørbæk. Dejlig creamet smag. Flot farve og skum. Slet ikke så ringe
