UPDATED: JAN 15, 2017 Copenhagen 17/4 2015. 50 cl bottle from Skjold Burne. Jazzy Christmas label with Christmas elf playing trumpet. Pours hazy orange with yellowish head. Settles as very thin thin layer of foam. Aroma is strong and sweet. Reminds me of cough syrup with notes of licorice, cardamom and anis. Soft carbonation. Fairly strange but Christmas inspired taste. Rather strong sweetness. Aftertaste is a little hot - probably the chili mentioned on the label with strong notes of alcohol. Not a thirst quencher and probably more strange than good. 500 ml bottle @ Fox and Hounds, Aabenraa. Slightly unclear golden body with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is mild malty and dominated by ginger and cookie spices. Flavor is totally dominated by chili, some cardamom, Christmas cookie and light malt with low bitterness. Medium body and burning chili aftertaste. OK for the chili burn, but not even close to balanced. KennethArd (570) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 7, 2014
Spicy sweet aroma. Hazy golden with minimal head. Way too much chili & nothing else in the taste. Medium body, sticky texture, flat carbonation & long finish of chili, chili, chili.

Tart-yellowish head, hazy golden apricot body, sediments, some lacings.
Scents; flowers, sweet malts, cardamum, dough, toffee.
Taste; strong caramel, hops, bitter, pepper, spices, sweets and alcohol.
Strong stuff on palate. Fading peppery finish. This brew would benefit from lower abv,
but nevertheless it goes well along with spicy powerful dishes.

It’s slightly hazy golden amber with a creamy head. The aroma has notes mild spice, caramel, fruit and malt. The flavor is sweet with the same notes as the aroma plus alcohol. The chili gives a little too dominating burn... alkolas510 (1403) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 24, 2013
