Kender den som dark horse. Den er lidt hen ad limfjordsporter, men lidt mere mild i betrækket. reebtogi (6277) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 20, 2016
330ml bottle pours an amber color with a finger and a half of white head that settles down to leave some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is chocolate and caramel with some light roasted grains and roasted almonds. Taste is a chocolate malty sweetness with a roasted grain and nut bitterness. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, a respectable brew that suits the style well. Recommended. Holmen2 (3651) - NORWAY - MAY 18, 2016
Bottle labelled Ørbæk Dark Horse contributed by EMJ at OSB 18.05.16. Dark chestnut. Brown head and lacing. Aroma and taste of dark malt, vanilla dark berries and cigar box. Moderate bitterness. Good drinkability. nybol (2201) - DENMARK - MAR 12, 2016
DraftDodger (1529) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 29, 2016
Copenhagen 29/1 2015. 50 cl bottle from Fakta. Bought under the name "Dark Horse". Horsey silhouette on the label. Pours hazy dark reddish brown with off-white head. Head disappears completely leaving flimsy patches of foam. Aroma is sweet and buttery. Caramel and a little roasted malts. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Taste is roasted malts, harsh butter with sugary notes. Aftertaste is bitter in a harsh kind of way. Not an especially pleasant experience. Too much butter and sugar for me.

Farven er mørk rav med en beige skumkrone. Aromaen og smagen er malt, karamel, humle og (især i smagen) kaffe. Klimaet (2594) - Aarhus N, DENMARK - DEC 5, 2015
Bottle. Pours dark brown with a small offwhite head. Aromas of malt, chocolate, spices. Taste is malty, caramel, chocolate. TorbenJensen (1528) - Valby, DENMARK - OCT 15, 2015
The aroma is very composed of the dark malts and has a subtle aroma of bitter chocolate. Tastes quite sweet compared to other Dunkel, but still in a balanced manner in which flavors like coffee and licorice come to terms with the aforementioned bitter chocolate. Malt helps to give it a full body and there is a comfortable and long-lasting hop bitterness. Cirrhosis (1283) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 15, 2015
Fuck the man I’m drinking this from the bottle. Bitter sour chalky coffee sweetness. Roasted malts almost a toffee. Flavorless hops with a coffee like bitter lingering after each sip. Way smoother then I thought it would be. I’m enjoying this more then I though I would. For such a boring style this is ok to drink. Starting to turn into a cold cup of coffee.
