Pleasant malt aroma with a hint of nuts. The taste is sweet caramel malt and again a piquant touch of nuts. Good fullness and a bit nondeScript fruit. Type is both aroma and taste in terms of space, but it does not fall through as something special. It is lovely, thirst quenching, rich and tasty. POLK (2219) - Hørning, DENMARK - JAN 7, 2012
Ørbæk has brewed this beer to mark the Danish Beer Enthusiasts 10 birthday. It is an easy-drinking nut colored beer with a light malty aroma and a very special flavor - probably from the English hops used in brewing, Fine foam. lacks Ballance. Koelschtrinker (21492) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 8, 2011

Bottle. Clear amber colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of caramel, malt hops and fruit. Oakes (18873) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 17, 2009
Bright golden-amber. Thin, rocky head. Caramelly aroma, little cookie dough in there. Bland caramel character, typical lame amber. Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 17, 2009
Bottle. Clear amber with nice lasting cap and delicate lacing. Sweet simple brown sugar and cookie dough aroma. Fizzy mineral water palate. Not bad. Clean flavors. Tastes like a leight beer. Thin but with good bready malt flavors. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUL 11, 2009
Bottled. Reddish amber colour, off-white foamy head, that vanishes quite quickly. Aroma is sweet malts, some marzipan, as well as sweet fruits and berries. Flavour is at first quite sweet malty, with hints of fruits and then gets lots of marzipan/nutty notes in the finish. NosirIwont (2592) - Husum, DENMARK - APR 22, 2009
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Nice lacing. Sweet malty and fruity (plums) aroma with equally sweet/candy-like hops in the background. As it warms, the malt and fruit notes take over, and the malt becomes more bread-like. Reminds me of a bock. A bit cloying. Flavour is pretty much like the aroma; sweet malts with fruity notes and a bit of hops in the background. Metallic notes somewhere in the vicinity, popping out to say ‘hi’ now and again; as it warms, this becomes more often, until continuously present (still saying ‘hi’, and you know, that kinda becomes annoying in the long run). Finish is sweet with a medium bitterness, but also feels somewhat watery. Lingering notes of raw liquorice, apple and grass, the latter becoming more dominant as it warms. Warming also brings out flowery notes. Not a bad beer, but nothing special either. 23-04-09.
