Very nice rich lather. Light aroma of malt and classic aroma of grain or bread. Good malty flavor with a little more richness than expected for the type. It is perhaps due to the applied spelled malt, well it tastes anyway. A little taste of light rye bread can be suggested until a marked fruit flavors leading to a gentle hop bitterness. It is a little atypical wheat beer, but quite surprising and tasty for the type.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2012 Bottle, 33 cl: Clody yellow beer with a frothy but fast disappearing white head. Sweeet fruity light malty aroma, that hasn’t really got the the fruity esters found you would expect from a German Hefe. The taste is much too sweet, syrupy-sweet, not very wheaty. This beer does no harm, I just wish it would do something good, but it’s too simple and too soft, in texture as in carbonation, even to be considered as a plain thirstquencher.

Cloudy orange yellow with a big lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, light wheaty, banana, yeasty and light cloves. Flavor is rather sweet and light acidic. Sweet finish. Soft and smooth. Too sweet and too much banana. Lacks balance. 200211
