Bottle. Cloudy light amber colour. No head whatsoever, which is a bit odd for a weissbier. The aroma is light with mostly yeast. Round taste, with a sharpness to it. The yeast is a bit weak in the taste - not so penetrating as other weissbiers tend to be, which I actually kind of like. But it also make it seem a bit watery. I can’t seem to single out the spelt used in the beer?! It has a very soft palate due to almost no carbonacid.

Hazy golden color, light weak fruity aroma, weak watery taste, light body, watery finish. Bad Hefeweizen.

I kind of liked this one! It's pretty weird and deviates massively from the German Hefe style but you can still tell it's made from wheat and there's a considerable lemon/citrus presence in it. Also, the beer's quite yeasty and crisp with a cloudy haze. This beats the heck out of a lot of American wheats. Light spice.

This is not a very good weissbier!! Pours a hazy orange body with a medium white head. Strange aroma with hay notes. Flavor is very un-weissbier-like. Water, hay and a tiny bit of lemon. Flad and bad.

madsberg (11773) - Søborg, DENMARK - JUL 22, 2003
Bottled: Dark orange coloured. Unclear. Not much head. Light spiced and fruity in the aroma. Almost too much. Cloves in the flavour. Sweet. Light watery. Not much going on in the aftertaste.

fiulijn (20604) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 14, 2003
Cloudy blond color. Very nice aroma, spicy, fruity (sweet oranges, banana). Quite sweet; of course with the typical spicy character but not enough, a bit fruity. Too watery palate.

omhper (25243) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAY 12, 2003
Sampled draught at the Danish Beer Festival.
Muddy mustard yellow. Estery aroma of banana and cloves. Fruity and mellow, soft, simple and charming with just a hint of cloves.

Mads Langtved (2243) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - FEB 21, 2003
Nice "light" german wheat from Fyn. Cloudy classic appearance. Average wheat beer. But very drinkable.

Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - FEB 20, 2003
Light colour with fastly dissapearing head. Weak wheat aroma. Very thin and slightly sour flavour.

Ungstrup (37861) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 22, 2002
A cloudy yellow beer with a fast disappearing head. It doesn’t have much aroma - only a slight fruitiness. The flavor is dominated by malted wheat, nice balance between sweetness and bitterness. An average wheat beer - nothing special.
