Gr0ve (2176) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 26, 2007
750 ml bottle. Amber coloured and clear. Medium-sized beige head. Seemingly high in carbonation. Crisp piney hop aroma. Caramelly flavours, malts, but a bit thin bodied. Finishes somewhat watery.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2011 Medium offwhite head. Clear amber body with carbonation. Fruity spicy herbal aroma with coriander and cardamom notes. Dry-sweet herbal blueberry and cardamom taste with papery notes. Mid-bodied. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dry-bitter blueberry and cardamom aftertaste is a bit harsh, with herbal mealy papery coriander notes. It’s not really very harmonic, and a bit too harshly bitter. Ah well. (0.5l bottle, gift from family. This rating replaces an old 3.7 rating from 2007.)

Bottle. Orangey amber, quite clear, small offwhite head. Nice raisins and toffee aroma. Sweet, raisins flavours, but with offsetting bitterness. Lighter body than expected, dryish ending. A nice surprise.

50 cl bottle. Dark amber, fine head. Mild, a bit featureless. Some Christmas spice.

stouby (4669) - Holbæk, DENMARK - JAN 28, 2007
Bottle at home. Dark redbrown with a beige head. Heavy malty (dark fruits, spices, orange, caramel), light hoppy. A fine Christmas ale.

MiP (15920) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JAN 25, 2007
Draught. Sugary aroma. Clear brown colour. Big, stable, creamy head. The flavour is OK malty, with a dusty caramel note. Creamy mouthfeel.

FrankJohansen (3622) - Sabro, DENMARK - JAN 12, 2007
Bottle. Past BB. Hazy light brownish colour with a medium somewhat lasting head. Rich aroma and taste of malts, fruits and spices. nothing special, but ok.

faroeviking (10987) - Citizen above universe pendejo, FAROE ISLANDS - JAN 4, 2007
Big bottle, the cork just blew off right after I had removed the metal strap. Hazy amber colour with a quite disappointing bubbly small head. Sweet and very fruity aroma with some caramel. Rather thin mouthfeel. The flavour is fruity with weak caramel, priggles on your tongue, weak bitterness. Surprisingly short but dry finish. Short bitter aftertaste. I really suspected more out of this brew.

Dark unclear amber/orange with fine white head. Aroma of malts. Metallic notes. Soft texture with a medium to flat carbonation. Easy spice & little orange, <medium body. Very pleasant, but somehow average!

2.4
Haack (101) - Hornslet, DENMARK - DEC 11, 2006
Bottle. White creamy lhead. Hazy red brown body. Malty aroma with lot of taste. Weak caramel flavor and some bitterness at the end.
