Copenhagen 22/10 2016. 75 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. Good old Santa making his way with big bags of toy on the label. First Christmas beer of the season - in October (sigh). But this one should be just like the King liked it in 16th century (double sigh). Pours dark amber with a reddish tinge and off-white head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is sweet and of fermented fruit, brown sugar, prunes and slightly metallic. Light carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is heavily sweet and sugary. Only light bitterness. I know Christmas beer is supposed to be sweet - but this one is on the verge of overdoing it. Jenner707 (82) - DENMARK - NOV 27, 2015
The beer has light brown color with a little white head. The aroma is malty with hints of roasted malt. The palate (fuzz mostly in this case) saves the beers taste and freshness. TorbenJensen (1517) - Valby, DENMARK - OCT 15, 2015
The taste is somewhat obfuscated with predominantly malt. Very sweet beer with flavor of cloves and prune. Discloses fennel back label, but it does not taste in the beer. Hop bitterness is discreet, and it is a beer that lacks a whole in his tasting notes. It tastes pretty much quite well, but in the end is the same messy and incoherent. Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Slightly not pleasent sour. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Not very good but nice looking. glamster (24) - - DEC 5, 2014
Great christmas beer. Aroma is cinnamon and wild berries. Taste is sour, actually this reminds me more of a lambic style beer, rather than belgian. Medium to high carbonated, quite refreshing this one.

Dark brown of color with an off white head. A sweet aroma of syrup, caramel, orange, candy and weak spice. A flavor of sweets, candy, toffee, spice ånde orange. Bamsen78 (5327) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - NOV 24, 2014
Bottle. Pours hazy dark amber with airy but stable beige head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, cinnamon and yeast. Sweetish flavour of cinnamon and caramel malt, with some fruity and estery touches. Subtle hints of hops. Mildly sourish notes towards the finish, persisting in the aftertaste. Not a very rich body, actually a trifle watery. Drinkable, but not any particularly memorable experience. Amber color with a small off-White head. Aroma is anise and spices. Taste is ginger and cinnamon. Too much carbonation

Bottle. It pours cloudy deep Amber with a small beige head. Loads of anise and cardemon in the aroma. Some ginger. The flavor is cinnamon, anise and sweet caramel. It’s brunkage all over. Not me at all. MiP (15650) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - NOV 15, 2014
Bottle, 6%. Citric cardamom aroma. Cloudy red/amber/brown colour. Semi-stable tan head. The flavour is citric with a fruity sweetness. Also some spicy cardamom flavour. Seems too citric, almost sour, to begin with but mellows out after a while.
