My Bottom Line:
This slick and sweetish Barley Wine shares slightly burnt caramelized cereals and mild alcohol warmth before leafy hops take care of balancing out the finish.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam crowns the deep copper.
-This tastes like a 10% Bitter. It doesn’t deliver much more than that, save for residual sugars, of course.
-The caramelized sugars aren’t too deep, but they aren’t too heavy either so it remains a easily drinkable Barley Wine.
-Carbonation is really low, which accentuates the sugary character.
-This one tastes like it needs time to gain depth of character.
-Light fruitiness can be found as well.
