Great beer from back in the day. Tastes like a raspberry beer should...slightly sweet finish

12oz bottle (Old Notes)-Pours a slightly hazy golden color. Aroma of big Raspberry. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew is one of the better raspberry wheats I have had.

Had this beer back in 1996. I’ve still got the empty bottle (listing it for sale on eBay today) this brewery is owned by Boston Beer Company and I believe it is contract brewed for them by Blitz-Weinhard in Oregon (which is where I live) but I haven’t seen any of their beers in a while. Not surprising since they were never very good. Oregon has TONS of great breweries (and more opening all the time), these guys were never more than so-so.

It was ok. Gift from Southern Johnny. It had an odd but likeable bready rasberry smell. However, the taste was rather processed. It was ok. I’m not a fruit beer lover.

12oz bottle. Had this in college between 1997 and 2000, then I dont know what happened to it. This beer had a heavy mixed berry aroma but the taste was very subdued. Was basically the IPA with a hint of berry flavor. Where did it go and whjen did BBC brew it?

An addictive beer. I haven’t had it in quite a while, but I remember it well. The aroma is all raspberry as is the taste. Although it is very sweet, it’s also very easy to drink...and drink a lot.

Not a beer you see every day. Good, but could def. be better. Good, with chicken.

Sampled a stored bottle, from circa 1999. This one brings back memories. Oregon, I'm pretty sure, is out of business now. I thought this one was a decent raspberry. Poured yellowish, with decent head. Good aroma of hops and berries. Finished smooth, with hops, citurs, and berry overtones. Not bad.
