On tap: The aroma consists of light-moderate citrus, grapefruit, and a hint of dank notes. It’s a mostly transparent golden-orange with a small white head that fades to a minimal film outlined by a thin ring. There’s is a nice thin soapy sheet of lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of tropical fruits and citrus. The finish has moderate grapefruit, lighter pine, and a touch of dank notes. It’s light bodied with light-moderate carbonation. Overall, I really dig the Session IPA style, and this is a very tasty one. Petkus331 (389) - Redford, Michigan, USA - JUN 22, 2014
Wow! This is a great session ale! An aroma of marijuana and a slightly sweet and pretty hidden cherry. Appears clear yellow, thin ring of white foam. Tastes of mildly bitter marijuana and some unroasted malt. Palate is ordinary. Overall, the best session I have had! firstsip (733) - Michigan, USA - JUN 22, 2014
Tap at brewery. Amber gold. Lacing. Beautiful floral nose. Citrus, pine. Can?t believe the ABV is only 3.8%. Definitely a hoppy session beer. umich03jm (3513) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - MAY 28, 2014
UPDATED: NOV 11, 2014 Draft at the pub. Pours a hazy light amber color with a small foamy head that fades quickly and leaves some great webbing. Aroma is a bit faint but really good. Pineapple, pine, flowers, and light lemon. Tastes like pine juice, and in a good way. Not harsh at all. Ultra smooth. Light sweetness, light bitterness. Light on tongue. A well made session IPA. Re-rate 11/11/14 - Sampled this twice at the MGB Fall Fest in 2014. Very dank with lots of tropical fruit and oranges. Really liked this. I need to go back and try a full pint again some time. strongpieman (1651) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - NOV 27, 2011
Draft. A lighter IPA as described. All around nicely done with exception of the palate being a little thin, which I think goes beyond making this a session beer.
