COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A high octane Strong Dark Belgian Ale. Almost black in color with an inviting aroma of banana, caramel and dried fruit. Medium body beer with complex flavors from malted barley, wheat, and imported Belgium dark candi syrup. Dangerously evil.

Aroma:Sweet caramel and dark fruits. A little Belgian character. Appearance:Black, with low amount of head. Taste:Dark fruits on the foretaste, quickly leading into a sour oak or wine barrel flavor in the midtaste. Itís not supposed to be barrel aged, so if itís from an infection, the brewery really lucked out. Palate:Medium body with low carbonation. A little tangy. Overall:A solid belgian strong dark, with a good bit of complexity.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2013 Pours an almost pitch black color with very little head. Big aroma of dark fruit, caramel, toffee, and belgian yeast. Taste is closer to a wine than a beer. Very sweet, almost like liquid candy. A nice carbonation helps so that the sweetness does not overpower. Long finish of caramel and belgian yeast. Reminds me a lot of a Unibroue beer. A very good Belgian Strong and worth seeking out.
