Sample at the brewpub. Slightly cloudy dark golden color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, herbal hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall. Frank (4190) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 30, 2016
This is a solid woody/earthy IPA. Nothing special but not too sweet and pretty drinkable. Kinda likeb this style a bit more dry but this is not a disaster. Pailhead (6539) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JAN 6, 2015
On tap: The aroma consists of moderate-heavy citrus with light pine. It’s a hazy amber with a small off-white head that quickly fades to a minimal film outlined by a thin ring. There is a good amount of soapy webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate-heavy citrus with a hint of caramel. The finish has moderate grapefruit with a touch of pine. It’s light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid IPA. Petkus331 (389) - Redford, Michigan, USA - JUN 22, 2014
An aroma of marijuana, and some caramel. Appears clear copper with nice lace and thin white head. Tastes of bitter marijuana followed by a mild caramel sweetness. Palate is a bit fizzy. Overall, decent. firstsip (733) - Michigan, USA - JUN 22, 2014
Tap at brewery. Dark copper. Lace. Weed/leather smell. Almost syrupy mouthfeel? Very piney at front. Much better as it warms.

On tap at Dan’s. The pour is a coppery-gold and rather clear. There is a film white head that leaves gorgeous lace all around the glass. The aroma ia huge on a citrusy hoppiness with a slight bready, yeasty type of characteristic to it. The flavor is very hoppy. There is a good balance of bitterness and solid sweetness. The mouth feel is solid. Not overly thin, but not chewy either. The aftertaste lingers nicely. Quite solid. joshwoodward (575) - - OCT 2, 2013
Had a glass as part of a sampler at the brewery. Very nice balance on this one, grapefruit but not overdone. salvaticas (761) - - FEB 2, 2013
On tap. Underrated IPA. Strong hoppy aroma and good flavor. Bit of a strange finish, but would definitely have again ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone BMMillsy (1788) - Florida, USA - OCT 9, 2012
Pours very hazy golden orange with creamy head. Aroma of strong hops and pine cones. Flavor follows with the most bitter I have experienced. Wow what a palate wrecker. Finishes rough, and gets a high rating since I was looking for a new level of crushing bitterness. Pretty good beer.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2012 Pours a cloudy dark golden orange color. Big citrus and piney hop nose but also some malt too. Taste is slightly sweet then quickly turns bitter. Lots and citrus and malt throughout. A little fruit too. Very nice IPA.
