1 l bottle, bought at the bottle shop beside the brewery. A dark golden, nearly copper in the glass. Mighty foamy head. Sweet grainy with malt on the nose. Taste is malty with a decent low hop herb, little bit grainy, sweet background. Smooth. Very nice easy drinker.

Slich hopfiger Antrunk, rund, mild fruchtig. Die Se wird etwas strker und passt gut, zugunsten der Herbe wird sie wieder milder. Sffig, zum Ende etwas bitter. Gelungen. 10/10/9/9/7/9

Thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle. The beer starts sweetish-malty. Smooth, but malty-sweetish. Slightly bitter-dry. The aftertaste is smooth, malty-sweetish, a bit earthy dry. Hints of nuts. Interesting brew, but no Pils!

1000ml bottle [Thanx Gunnar!]. Clear, orangey, deep golden to amber colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Strawy aroma with grassy-herbal-spicy touch, nuttily malty basis. Taste is malty, hints of green hazelnut, mildly hoppy overtones, slightly hoppier finish; soft palate, smooth carbonation. Rather untypical Pilsener with idiosyncratic nuttily malty note.

McTapps (6679) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - FEB 10, 2014
The beer pours out of the bottle ( thanks to Culchiem!) in a clear amber colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of straw and hops. Taste of caramel, browned butter, mild hops, leaves and nuts. Easy and nice to drink, enjoyable, but nothing that special,

bottle, cheers kappldav123! Hazy amber colour, not like the typical pale Pils, large and creamy off-white head, very persistent. Lovely hop aroma with a shy touch of fruit, with an almost Bohemian character. Solid malty base with (very shy) hints of roasted malts, lots of aromatic hops all over the tongue. Shy fruity touch, especially towards the finish. Lingering hop flavours. Smooth palate. A very nice beer, not the typical example of the style, but beautifully crafted.

culchiem (3739) - Berlin, GERMANY - JAN 25, 2012
Bottle at Green week Berlin. Medium amber with a thin head. Aroma is light toast malt. Flavour is quite smoky with a sugary malt base. Palate is long lingering smoke.
