Just barely a step above the typical macro lager crap. Slightly sweet with presence of corn, wheat and metallic unpleasantness. rondphoto (4468) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - DEC 17, 2016
bomber @ Cork n Bottle / Crescent Springs KY --- Aroma of malt and rice. Clear medium-light amber, fluffy 1" white head, globs of lace. Taste is malt and rice, consistently sweet, adding a jolt of edgy carbonation that serves as a balance. Just another "big box" Lager, although, there’s a little more flavor here. radagast83 (8137) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - NOV 15, 2016
~20oz bottle pour at a local sushi restaurant. Poured a golden yellow color, big head, quickly dissipating. Aroma was light rice, sweet grains. Flavor was similar. Luneylane (203) - Taipei City, TAIWAN - NOV 12, 2016
Not interested in clocking up ticks, promised myself I’d only rate the really good ones. However, since they’re so widely available in Taipei, and since I actually worked in Japan for five years, I’ll rate this one just for fun. Two cans from Wellcome supermarket poured into a pint glass for the full effect. The design on the can makes it look like soda water, a worrying sign... Aroma: smells alright, caramel? Appearance: clear amber, no head to speak of. Palate: light-bodied and thin, soft carbonation. There is something rather sour in the finish. Taste: lightly bitter, undistinguished. I don’t care if it’s from the sub-tropical island of Okinawa or not, I doubt if I will be drinking this one again.

Bottle at a Japanese restaurant in Flushing during US Open. Grainy nondescript lager. Grassy, corny, Budweisery, kind of sweet.

500ml can BB 12/2016 from Tokyo Liquor in Newmarket.
Slight grainy aroma.
Gold with good head.
Mild bitterness with grainy thin finish. A touch of wet cardboard too.
OK but nothing startling.

12 oz can into a shaker pint at Sushi Den. Clear golden appearance with a fluffy white head. Aroma of grains, light hops and a hint of corn. Similar flavor, adding light to mild malt sweetness and light bitterness. A little bland and boring overall, but it is pretty crisp, light and easy to drink I suppose. no aroma, pale, clear, minimal head, light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium sourness, light body, thin feel, adamnowek (2833) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JUL 28, 2016
Super bright golden colour. Corny aroma. Taste is overly sweet. This would be better on an Okinawan beach.
