Can in KinosakiOnsen. Clear yellow - white head. Light malty, light hay, watery, light cardboard, sweetness, candlewax, corn. Bland - boring. Tmoney99 (14838) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 1, 2006
Bottle. Poured amber color with a large frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Light grass hoppy aroma. Medium body with a thin texture. Light bitter flavor with a short light bitter finish. crossovert (13724) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 16, 2011
his was my first Japanese rice lager, it was a bit like Asahi, and it wasn’t very good.
It pours a clear, pale gold.
The nose is nonexistent.
The taste is super-subdued with some "beer" flavors, mineral water, and a pinch of hop.
This beer is really just one of those out there for tickers, I have on’y seen it at a few elect places though. Dogbrick (13520) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 17, 2013
Pale golden color with a medium foamy white head that recedes slowly. Aroma of grain and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of grainy malt, corn and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a grassy hops aftertaste. Below average overall. j12601 (13027) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - OCT 31, 2009
Bottle from a Korean liquor store in Ridgefield, I took it to Paul’s gathering with Kan. Pours a clear piss yellow, with the correctly accompanying bubbles. Smells musky and sweaty, a bit like a hamster cage. Sweet corn juice flavor, relatively inoffensive. Once past the aroma it probably has a place… just not in my belly.

855ml bottle. Poured a medium yellow color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas yeast, grass, and a generic maltiness. Tastes follow suit. Body on the thinner side. jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 30, 2009
@Pauls Gathering courtesy of j12601-22 oz bottle-pours a disappearing white head and pale yellow color. Aroma is vegetal, rot. Taste is sweet vegetal/corn/grassy, some hops. shrubber85 (11570) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUL 15, 2005
Bottle. Sour barnyard malt aroma. Golden yellow with little head. Sour malt flavor with a hint of soy sauce. Light body. Okay if you don’t have any other choice or want a light beer. BVery (11209) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JUN 29, 2016
Can from FairPrice in Singapore. This is better than some other lagers I’ve had in the area, but by no means is it good. A little cleaner, maybe some sweet grains poking through, but still bland and boring. hopscotch (11181) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - SEP 15, 2010
Bottle… Clear golden lager with a small, fizzy, white head. Excellent retention. The nose is all about pale malt and lightly toasted grain... backed by spicy European hops. Light-bodied with lively carbonation. The flavor gives a slight nod toward the sweet side of balance. Bitterness is low, but it’s peppery. Short, crisp, lightly sweet finish.
