Pours deep black with a white head.
Nose roasted malt.
Tastes roasted malt, dark chocolate.
There is an almost sour fruity taste that puts me a bit off.

Pours like a porter. Nose is roasted malt, bitter coffee, dark chocolate and some dark fruit ( cherries, blackberries ). Nice silky mouth feel. Taste is similar to nose, nicely bitter on the back end and slightly juicy. Fantastic. Very sessionable too. Maits (564) - ESTONIA - NOV 12, 2016
Very dark beer, black with nice thick lively dark brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel and chocolate and little fruity. Taste is sweet and slightly bitter chocolate and malts. Medium body. Easy drinkable and enjoyable beer. CroccyLc (13) - Paisley, SCOTLAND - OCT 29, 2016
Bottle at home. Nicely carbonated and tastes borderline porter. Not as heavy or rich as most other Scottish style dark/80/ ale and having a light mouthfeel makes this one very sessionable. Really nice. hershiser2 (3595) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - OCT 15, 2016
$5.49 500 ml bottle from Market Street Wine Shop, Downtown. Pours black with a small, frothy tan head. Nice lacking as it recedes. Dark fruit aroma: black cherries, raisins. Flavor is slightly tangy cherry, blackcurrants, raisin, perhaps a hint of vanilla as well. Nicely done.

Never mind all the expert comments, this is a Mans beer, and it’s the best. Can’t get enough. Bubeer (479) - - OCT 4, 2016
Dark brown with ruby edges. Thin brown head, low retention. Aroma intensity 3.75/5. Prunes and blackcurrant in the nose. Syrup adds to the medium bitter taste. Full body. Fizzy carbonation. Waterish texture, when comparing with the Reserve version. markoijelena (3147) - Belgrade / Amsterdam, SERBIA - SEP 30, 2016
Bottle 0.5l at home Belgrade, Serbia. 21.08.2016. Leftover from Great British Fest 2015. Pour it dark color with no head. Aroma roasted malt, metallic caramelish, not so good. Taste roasted malt, caramel, just little bit bitter, light body, thin feel, average to soft carbonation, astringent. phfyysik (1395) - Tartu, ESTONIA - SEP 21, 2016
Pours black with pinkish beige head. Aroma is sour, yeasty, some caramel, toasted bread, fruits. Taste is burned, some caramel, ash, wood, light sweetness, bitter, some fruits, creamy. Nice after taste. Good beer!
