Scopey (14708) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 16, 2014
Bottle at home. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is doughy, grainy, weak citrus and hay. The taste is bitter, toasty, doughy, dull sweetness, grass, citrus peel and pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Straight-forward golden ale. Drinkable enough, but far from exciting. Beerhunter111 (20468) - P´Castle, GERMANY - APR 8, 2014
Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig malzig, leicht hefig, hopfig. Geschmack hopfig malzig, fruchtig, leicht hefig. Beerhammaren (1793) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - MAR 19, 2014
.5l bottle from Lutakko Supermarket
Pours clear golden with low white head. Leaves lacing. Aroma is malts, hops and grass.
Flavor is hops, malts and some citrus fruits. Oakes (17664) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 11, 2014
Pale straw, the aroma is mostly pale malt and just a little bit of earthy-mossy hop and mushroomy yeast. Light bitterness, lots of yeasty character, mushrooms and stronger overaged brie stuff, and the hops are a shadow. Not to mention a brutal, skullsplitting whack of diacetyl. Honestly, the beer is not as described ("citrusy" and all that) and tastes old. The problem with that is that it has a BBD of Nov/14, this is Aug/13 and I bought it at the brewery. That says it all for me - it’s just not a good beer and clearly the brewery doesn’t care about it. RuneStumo (2678) - Haugesund, NORWAY - JAN 30, 2014
30.01.2014. 0,5l Bottle. Spesialbutikken Vaaland, Bryne. Golden yellow colour with white head. Very nice soft hoppy sroma at first. Body is rather thin but all in all together with the hops, its ok. Aftertaste is also soft and gives a soft grassy aftertaste with notes of straw. Nice soft beer with ok flavours, and its more hops than malt.

Floral and fruity hops, malt and mild bitterness in the aroma. The flavour is floral hops, mild bitterness and some maltiness. Quite easy but not totally flavourless.

500ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with substantial white head. Very good mouth-feel from this beer with just the right viscosity and carbonation. Has a pleasant well balanced taste. Not the best of the Orkney beers but another very good one from the Sinclair brewery. StilleStorm (1528) - Stavanger, NORWAY - OCT 4, 2013
Pours clear, pale golden, with lasting white bubble head. Aroma is malty and fruity. Taste is malty, fruity with some spice. Nice bitter finish. berkshirejohn (6497) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 5, 2013
50cl bottle from Dobbies Garden Centre, Reading. Described as a Pale Ale on the bottle - and that seems a much more accurate description of this light, grassily hopped beer. It’s straw in colour with a billowing white head, and could even be mistaken for a lager; the aroma is grainy with a touch of wet grassy; it’s sweet and grainy in the mouth; with a light refreshing bitterness to finish. This goes to show that Orkney can manage soft and delicate as well as heavy and skull splitting.
