"A light and refreshing beer. A surprisingly full mouth-feel with a superior balance of malt and hop, and a rewarding fruit finish."

500 ml bottle from Vaaland, Bryne. Misty sparkling golden body with a small dense off-white head. Fresh pear and orange marmelade on the nose. Light to medium body. Watery texture. Light sweet and acidic with a papery bitterness.

I just had to drink this one today, to celebrate a week of correcting student exams in a course on the northern lights… The body is quite hazy and has a light yellow, almost whitish colour. Cool! The white head is average, both in size and longevity. Quite strong aroma that is sweet and citric at the same time. Citric notes with lemon, fruits, ripe berries and pale malts. The initial taste is very light acidic and there is also a light to moderate sweetness that lasts into the light bitter and a bit short aftertaste. Citric lemon flavours, fruits and caramel. A decent one.

A golden beer with an almost medium and white head. Aroma is fresh and aromatic, lemon, some fruits and dry malts. Taste is quite dry and biscuity, some aromatic citrusfruits, hint of honey, nice grassy and elmony bitterness. Nice taste but it’s too mild. Light bodied, slightly harsh carbonation. Nicely fresh, but the flavours are too mild.

0,5 l flaske ombord i Fridtjofen: syrlig og frisk aroma. Fint men kortvarig skum. God munnfylde. Frisk smak av citrus og bringebær. Behagelig ettersmak, kanskje en smule oljeaktig

Camons (13384) - Hasselager, DENMARK - NOV 24, 2012

Nice citrus flavour with a malty depth. Not too bitter nor is there a heavy alcoholic kick.

McWorta (1633) - LUXEMBOURG - OCT 12, 2012
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2014 Lovely light golden colour. Nice lasting soft pillowy white head. Noses of hops and fresh cut grass with a hint of coriander-citrus. Texture is light oily bit soapy reminding again faintly of coriander. Medium body, lightly sweet with hints of floral bitterness a truly lovely balanced beer! Finish is long but pleasantly un-noticable, still lingering.

Very light and really pale gold body with a fair white head. Aroma is fruity verging on a grassy finish. Quite a a malty taste with a fruity berry like finish which feels quite hoppy. Quite a decent beer!

0,5 l bottle. Definitely fruity, surprisingly and extremely refreshing. A bit bitter at the end, but an easy to drink beer at all.
