Pours light gold. Taste of hops, citrus, a bit of grass. Has a nice feel to it, mixture of bitterness and sweetness to balance each other out. Enjoyed it! Thomas_W1 (841) - Rastatt, GERMANY - NOV 20, 2015
Pale yellow beer with a fine head. Sweet malt and toffee aroma with some spices - a little stuffy. Surprisingly flavorfull considering the low ABV. Pilsner malt, hops and a slight sourness. Thin finish. joergen (28108) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 30, 2005

-Ample foam sticks to the top of the clear straw blond.
-Crackers and dry straw dangle under the nostrils.
-Flavor profile is quite dry, juggling straw and biscuity malts with gentle citrus fruit.
-The frothy carbonation is definitely not trying to emulate the cask serving at all.
-The crisp maltiness isn’t too frail considering its gravity.
What if you dig deeper?
-Cereal sweetness agrees with the citrusy tones.
-The finish is very dry, with discreet supporting hops.
-The overall result is a kind hop-malt equilibrium.
-This is a refreshing, well-brewed golden ale, but in the end it feels rather inconsequential.

500 ml bottle from Meny Liertoppen. Clear pilsner golden. Mostly diminishing fingerthick white head. Mild earthy and fruity hop aroma. Taste is light sourish, semi-dry pale malts, earthy, almost resiny bitterness, and a faint citrussy fruitiness. Medium to light body strenght. Finishes superdry, with a lingering fruity bitterness. A quenching one, nice session beer. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 27, 2009
Bottle from Centra.
Clear golden beer. Avoids the usual trap of British golden ales, as it is not too sweet. Well balanced malt and hops, cereals, citrus, crisp finish. MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - NOV 2, 2009
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a fluffy white foam. Slightly sweet and juicy pale malty aroma with notes of citrus and woody, slightly sweaty hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderately carbonated dry mouthfeel. Fruity and subtle grainy taste, accompanied by slightly flowery and woody hops; quite dry and moderately bitter finish with present hops character. Likeable pale Ale. 02.XI.09 Holmen1 (5874) - Stavanger, NORWAY - NOV 25, 2012
0,5 l flaske ombord i Fridtjofen: syrlig og frisk aroma. Fint men kortvarig skum. God munnfylde. Frisk smak av citrus og bringebær. Behagelig ettersmak, kanskje en smule oljeaktig tfredvik (1941) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 7, 2013
I just had to drink this one today, to celebrate a week of correcting student exams in a course on the northern lights… The body is quite hazy and has a light yellow, almost whitish colour. Cool! The white head is average, both in size and longevity. Quite strong aroma that is sweet and citric at the same time. Citric notes with lemon, fruits, ripe berries and pale malts. The initial taste is very light acidic and there is also a light to moderate sweetness that lasts into the light bitter and a bit short aftertaste. Citric lemon flavours, fruits and caramel. A decent one.
