Deep amber color. Rich caramel like nose. Medium full body. A touch of chocolate in the mouth, fairly malty. Lonick (2537) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 14, 2017
Bottle @home. Pours golden/orange, big frothy white head. Nose is hoppy, fruity, some spices, big black peppercorns. Taste is along the same lines without the pepper. Eddie1976 (121) - - JUN 2, 2017
The Orkney brewery is one of my favourites but not to sure about the raven ale.

Bottle. Pale Gold in colour. Malty; toasty biscuity malts. Hoppy; resinous spicy hops. Fruity; tangy citrus lemon. Lovely malt/hop/fruit balance. Dry bitter hop finish. Full flavoured for low ABV. Very refreshing. Liked this. Nice beer!

Bottle at home. Golden Amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma has born, and malty, the taste follows this nicely with a light hoppy bitter finish. Light body. Thomas_W1 (957) - Rastatt, GERMANY - NOV 30, 2015
Flasche 0,5l: Kräftiges Gold, etwas mittelporiger Schaum; in der Nase sehr süß und malzig, schokoladig, deutlich Karamell, leicht nussig; im Körper kräftig malzig, angenehme Süße, leichte Bitterkeit, kräftige Würze, Röstaromen; angenehmer trockener Nachgang King_Alex_II (1227) - SWITZERLAND - NOV 2, 2015
Golden color with some foam. The smell is malt. The taste is a bit malty and bitter in a solid balance. The aftertaste is like the beer: not very special, but very solid. JorgeLee (2234) - Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2015
Bottle from Beer Hawk. Golden in colour, quite high carbonation, white bubbly foam. Initially tastes like a slightly minerally slightly grainy bitter, but a nice earthy fruity hop bitterness grows on you mouthful by mouthful. By the end of the glass, very moreish and tasty, could certainly be a great all-night beer. One for the drinkers...
