Amber-red. Thick head. There’s a big chewy caramel aroma. Quite tasty. Toasty palate with chewy caramel accents. Good complexity and balance. Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 17, 2010
Cask @ Cumberland. Dark amber with lacing. Dry, earthy, aroma has some damp wood. Dry flavors are nice with mild roast. It’s not sweet, not toasty, not toasty, not bitter. It is a bit too safe? Boring. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - AUG 25, 2010

Pours hazy, deep amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. Fine duration. Lovely aroma, caramel, berries, malts and flowery hops. Low carbonation, fine and dry mouthfeel. Flavour starts sweet and malty, then comes a touch of pepper and a nice dose of flowery hops. Just a hint of chocolate. Very dry finish. Nice!
