(Cask at Market Porter, Borough, London 27 Apr 2007) Dark reddish brown, tawny, colour with firm beige head. Fruity nose with dark fruit, raspberries, orange and lovely notes of citrussy hops. Fruity taste with dark fruit, raspberries, dried apricots, hints of chocolate and earthy/citrussy hops in the finish. Solid malt foundation throughout. Very taste, very drinkable. Excellent is the word!

Cask, Loughborough Fest 07. Red and brown with off-white foam. Aromas are sweet light malts with berries and floral spicy notes. Flavours are fruity and malty, quite herbal and flowery. Washes over the palate. Dry and fruity on the finish. Peppery on the aftertaste with some metal. Pretty good.

on cask: nice simple bitter. A little too smooth and not quite bitter as i was expecting. Still would be a great session beer.

Notes say: GAY BANTER (on the high chair!) Was soapy and not nice..........

Cask at Max’s this beer was not one of my favorites after trying other cask beers at a beer event. I did like the dark rich red color and the slight taste of caramell but overall the beer just came across watery or something, the texture just wasn’t there.

Rune (12944) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 13, 2006
Pint on cask. Deep ruby dark with brilliant clarity. Dense and creamy off-white head. Rich malty aroma. The initial flavour starts with fresh flowers and turns into caramell with supporting fruitiness and bitterness. Well balanced. A pleasant surprise! (Served in well keptt condition at Ye Old Mitre, Holborn 20.09.2006).

Finn (7547) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 10, 2006
Cask at Ye Old Mitre Holborn London EC1 19 Sep 06. Deep red coloured. A creamy tanned head. Perfect appearance! Sweet aroma of caramel. Fruity flavour with hints of caramel. A subtle bitter aftertaste. Splendid!

harrisoni (18796) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUL 17, 2006
Cask gravity at Bowl Inn, Charing, BF 2006. Very hazy russet colour. Thick lasting beige head. Yeast and red berry aroma. OK in mouth, fullish good malt. Dry finish, bit earthy, red fruits. Pretty good red fruit malt bitter with very hoppy finish.

Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - MAY 29, 2006
Pint in Edinburgh. Great aroma accompanied by its lovely red appearance and smooth looking head. Malt flavour with a well balanced sweetness. I liked this beer because its tasty and looks great.
