Bottle pour into snifffffter. Nose is dry cocoa and some light coffee/roasted notes. Some bready hints too. Pour is black with an off-white head. It’s nice to find a local brew - and a bottled one at that. For a porter the nose was light - but hints of burnt leaves and coffee were present. THe mouth feel was thin and bitter, again with hints of dark chocolate for a clean finish. The flavors were short-lived but all in all this beer wasn’t that bad. Shared by OmegaX - thanks mayn.

Bottle from Liz. Pours brown/black with a creamy tan head. Aroma is chocolate with a little coffee and maybe a touch of anise. Med + body. Flavor is very dark chocolate with some gritty near-burnt malt and with a little coffee coming along. Anise? Maybe not. Definitely dry, but not particularly bitter.
