Orlando Brewings first lager is a big hit! European Pilz is a light-bodied yet flavorful beer created in the traditional pilsener style. Like all our beers, it is hand-crafted by brewmaster Ed Canty right here on the premises. Have a pint! Its the best way to cool down as we enter the dog days of summer

Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear, medium gold body with a wispy, thin, pure white film. A thin, foamy edge leaves behind minimal amounts of spotty lacing. The aroma shows very light caramel malts, cream, bready yeast, a drop of lemon, and a surprising amount of floral hops. The flavor started out sweet and biscuity, with a good amount of lemon chiffon character and a nice dose of floral, slightly peppery hops. Medium-light bodied and smooth, this would be a nice session brew on a hot day. Im starting to think that Orlando Brewing does lagers better than it does ales, as this one and the Doppelbock were the most impressive brews within their styles.

this tastes like a straight up European pils with a touch of hay and sharp malts. quite balanced on the hops

Draft at the brewery. Dark gold pour with a thin white head. Light hop velvety malt aroma. A good malty taste, solid body with a lot of hops for a pilsener. Leaves a slight bitter finish. One of the better offerings from the brewery.

Ill be completely honest, i had did not have high hopes for this one, but it really surprised me! Cereal grains in the aroma, a little spicy. Pours light blonde. Very hoppy, bitter, some cereal grain flavors, slightly catty. This is definitely NOT a "classic german pilsner" its way too hoppy, but i do like a hoppy pilsner, despite the slight cattiness in the hop flavor, its pretty good. Just dont let it get a little warm, towards the end, it got pretty nasty as it warmed up.

Biscuity and saazy in the aroma with hay and grainy notes. The pour is a golden color with just a huge fluffy white head. It took some effort to settle this one down. Thick lacing throughout. This is fairly dry, crisp, and bitter. A bit more hoppy and bitter than I thought it would be. A lemon citrusy taste mixes with wheat, grains, and grass. Theres a buttery note in here thats the only thing I didnt particularly care for but fortunately its masked by the bitterness. This beer is actually pretty good. Much better than I expected.

Lucent straw, white head, light body, medium co2.

Aroma and taste: sweet pale malt, leafy hops, something funky (pidgeon roost).

Tasting with the owners, and that OBC standard weird flavor doent seem to bother them.

On tap at brewery. Poured a dark golden color. Flavor was spicy citrus up front and even hints of grass. Bitter finish though that I did not enjoy.
