on tap-pours a retaining thin off white head that laces and yellow/gold color. Aroma is mild grain, lemon. Taste is light/medium malt-caramel, secondary spicy hops (Hersbruck?). Medium body. Mild carbonation.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear, medium gold body with a wispy, thin, pure white film. A thin, foamy edge leaves behind minimal amounts of spotty lacing. The aroma shows very light caramel malts, cream, bready yeast, a drop of lemon, and a surprising amount of floral hops. The flavor started out sweet and biscuity, with a good amount of lemon chiffon character and a nice dose of floral, slightly peppery hops. Medium-light bodied and smooth, this would be a nice session brew on a hot day. I’m starting to think that Orlando Brewing does lagers better than it does ales, as this one and the Doppelbock were the most impressive brews within their styles. redlight (2318) - Orlando, Florida, USA - DEC 8, 2007
I’ll be completely honest, i had did not have high hopes for this one, but it really surprised me! Cereal grains in the aroma, a little spicy. Pours light blonde. Very hoppy, bitter, some cereal grain flavors, slightly catty. This is definitely NOT a "classic german pilsner" its way too hoppy, but i do like a hoppy pilsner, despite the slight cattiness in the hop flavor, its pretty good. Just don’t let it get a little warm, towards the end, it got pretty nasty as it warmed up. DragonStout (1416) - Groveport, Ohio, USA - DEC 26, 2007
Too hoppy and spicy for a pilsner.Like mine a little refreshing.Pours a nice golden color with cereal on the nose. The finish had a slight bite. BeerVirgin72 (880) - Pickerington, Ohio, USA - JUN 16, 2008
On tap at brewery. Poured a dark golden color. Flavor was spicy citrus up front and even hints of grass. Bitter finish though that I did not enjoy.

Bottle from Liz. Pours pale gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is moderately bready and somewhat grassy. Med body. Flavor is bready with a little grassy hop. It’s not coming across as crisp and clean as Urquell, but it’s drinkable. Probably good for washing down food. Tmoney99 (14625) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 6, 2008
Draft sample at brewhouse. Poured a clear straw color with a moderate fizzy white head that mostly lasted and had good lacing. Moderate hoppy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium bitter hoppy flavor with a medium bittersweet dry finish of moderate duration. This beer met my expectations. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 6, 2008
The appearance is pale gold with an average head. The aroma is has a big hop element and is somewhat malty. The taste is like the aroma with the hops hitting you first then the sweet malt yet the finish is dry. The palate is better than most for the style being smooth and full. I was really impressed with this one. I really liked it because it is actually what I want out of the style more than it is an exact replication of the ideal for for this style. Its more robust than most and it has a strong hop character.

Sample at brewery taproom. Warm golden, hardly any head in the taster glass. Fruity aroma. Hops not detectable but diacetyl is, unfortunately. Flavors are nice, a good crisp herbal hop finish lingers on the back of the tongue like fresh greens or herbs leave. Nicely hopped but needs an aroma boost. smith4498 (3649) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - DEC 24, 2011
Draft @ the brewery. Pours clear golden color with white head. Cereal malt aroma with some grassy hops. Light, crisp pils flavor with grassy hops. Thin body with average carbonation.
