COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Orlando Brewingís first lager is a big hit! European Pilz is a light-bodied yet flavorful beer created in the traditional pilsener style. Like all our beers, it is hand-crafted by brewmaster Ed Canty right here on the premises. Have a pint! Itís the best way to cool down as we enter the dog days of summer

Pours a pale golden yellow on tap with little white head, but good lacing. Aroma is of light grainy notes and a bit of yeast. Taste is light, german notes, but very grainy, almost like bread. Dry finish with light mouth feel.

Bottle from Liz. Pours pale gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is moderately bready and somewhat grassy. Med body. Flavor is bready with a little grassy hop. Itís not coming across as crisp and clean as Urquell, but itís drinkable. Probably good for washing down food.

Biscuity and saazy in the aroma with hay and grainy notes. The pour is a golden color with just a huge fluffy white head. It took some effort to settle this one down. Thick lacing throughout. This is fairly dry, crisp, and bitter. A bit more hoppy and bitter than I thought it would be. A lemon citrusy taste mixes with wheat, grains, and grass. Thereís a buttery note in here thatís the only thing I didnít particularly care for but fortunately itís masked by the bitterness. This beer is actually pretty good. Much better than I expected.

PorterPounder (7894) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 19, 2011
Orlando, Fl - Whole Foods - 12 oz bottle. Pours a medium golden with a crisp snow white head. Aroma has a hint of butterscotch - slightly phenolic. Flavor has some bready notes, some cereal like grainy notes and a hint of butterscotch. Mouthfeel is crisp and thick enough.

DuffMan (10271) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 31, 2011
Bottle. Straw gold colour, nice carbo, foamy lacy white head. Crisp cereal grains and leafy hop flavours expected of a true pilsener, finishes clean and bitter, like a northern German pils. Really well done actually, and of the seven OBC brews I tried, this was the best.

SanfordBrewer (1574) - Sanford, Florida, USA - NOV 19, 2010
Lucent straw, white head, light body, medium co2.

Aroma and taste: sweet pale malt, leafy hops, something funky (pidgeon roost).

Tasting with the owners, and that OBC standard weird flavor doenít seem to bother them.

I hate Pilsners. But this one is great. I said no i dont like pilsner.. i was told to try it. And boy was ai glad, sweet... enjoyable. Unique my number one requirement.
