An All-American beer. American organic grown malts, zesty American grown hops and the American ale yeast clearly identify this beer as homegrown. Refreshingly hoppy, pale yet tan and complex maltiness epitomize what this pale ale has brought to the American beer culture. Crisp, clean, sassy and complex, American ale at it finest.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear deep gold with off white head and some sheet lacing. The aroma is mostly citrusy grapefruit hops and a sense of sweet malts. The taste has an initial modest malty pulse. Soon after grapefruit enters the picture and takes this to closure with the help of some grainy malts. Pretty nice stuff.

12 oz bottle. Medium amber color, off white creamy head. Aroma of a good ole American (dry hopped) Pale Ale. A very nice, calming (hop) oily nose. Resiny with a touch of new car smell. Flavor is light. Nice malt profile. Creamy texture. Simple grain character. Followed by a spicy hop finish. Noble bitterness? Interesting.

Tap @ brewery pours copper, white head. Aroma is hoppy, floral, light fruit presence, and light malts. Taste, floral hops, some fruits with grapefruit citrus presence and malt to balance it out.

Part of sample tray at the brewery. Was more impressed with the place than the beer. Average Pale Ale

rbrazell (1763) - Florida, USA - FEB 19, 2009
Pours amber gold with small white head. Light body with hops, malt, citrus and honey.

Oakes (19525) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 17, 2009
Golden-amber colour. Bright. Somewhat earthy aroma with a hint of woody hop. Slight citrus on the palate, bright but mellow. Light malts back it up.

Bright golden-amber. The aroma is a little bigger here. It’s much chewier, richer, especially for the style. Good dry finish. 6-4-7-3-14 = 3.4

Sample @ brewery taproom. Sampled both the filtered and the unfiltered. Entered ratings reflect filtered version. Filtered Version:Bright medium gold. Balanced aroma leads toward fruitiness and also malty with bready character. Clean, soft mouthfeel. Juicy body is sweet but nice. Solid, even if too sweet for my taste.Unfiltered Version: Warm, bright, dark golden with fruity, yeasty aroma. Juicy body, crisp finish and nice character even if not hoppy. 7-4-7-3-13

kramer (6991) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 4, 2009
12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper body with a small fizzy off-white head that ran to a thin covering. The nose is grainy crystal malt with a weird almost tobacco like off note. Minimal to no hops. The flavor is grainy toasted malt, on the thinner side, with a burnt caramel sweetness. Very light bitterness, where’s the hops? Medium bodied with a coursly grainy texture and a short abrupt finish. Overall, pretty bad.

On tap at WDW. Poured clear lighter amber with a short near-white head. The aroma picked up sweet caramel with light grapefruit and floral accents.. very sweet overall with a candy-like impression. The flavor found very sweet caramel again at the core with increasing citrus bitterness around the edges as it warmed up.. finished spicy and mildly warm. Light-medium bodied and too sweet on the palate, leaving a dry, grainy impression on the finish.. OK feel.

12 oz bottle from GodofThunder p[ours deep golden color with a creamy head. Earthy aroma with a bit of sweetness and smoke. Very little bitternesa and some sweet oranges in there. Not much other than that. Kinda disappointing
