[2471-20090827] 500mL bottle. Chocolate watery vegetables aroma. Hazy, dark orange amber body with a quick bubbly off-white head. Mainly grainy malt flavour has some hop evergreen hops. Medium body is a little rough. Not particularly interesting.

very dark amber pour, and i’ve got some floaters in my glass. Good lacing from the small off white head. Aroma of some roasted malt, and some sweet hops. Not what i was expecting from an IPA. HOnestly i don’t know if this is an off bottle but it’s more of a hoppy brown ale. There is a roasted character that i can’t shake. Lots of earthiness, weird IPA.

UPDATED: SEP 20, 2009 2009-09-20. Dark amber body with a modest beige head. Aroma of dry grainy malts with a slight tang, over sweeter malt. Flavour has more of a tang, moderate bitterness, caramel malt, dry malt lingers with modest bitterness. Average plus palate. Clearly in better shape than the previous bottle but still a bit odd. 6/3/6/3/12 - 3.0 Bottle from Montreal Trip

2009-08-27. Dark amber body with a modest off-white head. Ɠ+) Odd, funky aroma, bit off, sour pickles and weirdness. Flavour is similar, sour dish water, vegetal touches. Average palate. Bizarrely off. We have a second bottle, hopefully it is better. 4/3/3/3/6 - 1.9Bottle from Montreal Trip

500ml bottle. Poured light amber with big cream colored head. Aroma is floral hops, caramel. Earthy and grassy notes in aroma as well . Taste is light floral hops, bit watery, some caramel. A tiny bit citrusy. Bitter on the finish. Taste is a lot better than aroma. Not very good. Would drink many many other IPA before this one. Rating #115

I think I just saw it for the first time; 4,19$ for 500ml, at Peluso. Sweet and very floral aroma, hazy dark-orange color, not a lot of foam and it is not lasting. Dominant hop bitterness (mix of floral and fruity hops), notes of sweetness, tongue-tingling as the style requires. Well-balanced and very, very drinkable although it seemed a little watery. I liked it... But I think it had some aging.

500ml. bottle bought at L aBarrick. The color is a hazy amber with a thick beige head, The aroma is of hops but not to strong. The taste also of hops but watered down, some bitterness. This beer has a long way to go to be a good I.P.A.

Bouteille 500ml.

(Bottle). Bitter grapefruit aroma. Orange-amber color, white head. Flavor a little citrusy, with a very bitter long finish. Not particularly well balanced, but certainly drinkable.
