12oz bottle. Clear copper amber color. Nose of stachy dry hops, like dried lawn clippings, along with a honey and caramel fish scent. Flavor: simple, crisp, sharp, slightly sour and vegetal, with a stale bread and dried grass flavor. A simple beer. RblWthACoz (964) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - FEB 2, 2008
Pours a clear darker brown amber with no head. Nose is a bit like wet wood with some caramel mixed in there and a sugary tone to it. Flavor is a bit like a wet cardboard, but not so much in a totally negative thing. It just has a flavor of a type of wood with a sweet tone. Kind of a thinner caramel flavor. The wood is a bit too stringent and too much. Throws it off balance and nothing helps it get back up. Feel is okay. Drinkability is...okay. I am not really too impressed here. Decent, but not worth going to at all really. Unless you’re an organic freak. Chapel (468) - Levittown, New York, USA - JAN 24, 2008
Pours a clear copper with not much head. There is a strong creaminess to the taste and mouthfeel which, I think, is rather unique. radagast83 (8533) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JAN 20, 2008
Bottle. I came in with low expectations and this beer exceeded them. Pours an amber color. Aroma is malt and hop notes. Not that much else to it really. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 25, 2007
(12oz bottle) Small beige head that mostly vanishes, atop clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some chocolate, peach, bread. Taste is medium sweet, bread, some caramel, peach, light seltzer. Watery light-medium body.

Orange-tinged dark yellow, no retention, minimal lacing. Aroma has some sort of vegetable in it, and hops. Palate is decent, sweet, honey, hops and chocolate. Interesting, and nice. jgb9348 (6520) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - DEC 17, 2007
Slightly hazy amber coloured body with a light tan head and a bunch of floaters throughout the beer! Aroma of light hops, a strong malt body and a bit of caramel, tucked in with some raisins. Light-bodied; A short dose of hops, with more malt than expected and very little else. Aftertaste shows some sugars, but mostly cardboardy type tastes. Overall, a pretty poor beer, with little to offer for this style or any others. Overall, a very big disappointment, not really worth trying again. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 16-December-2007. Dickinsonbeer (5073) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 12, 2007
12 oz bottle from Halftime. Pours a slightly hazy medium amber with a lively carbonation and a foamy head- light lace. Aroma is light toffee, and sweet light caramel malts, some light nuttiness, and herbal grassy hops with some light earthiness- also has a wierd citrussy lemon hint. Toffee and lightly staled malts, crackery, and some grassy hops in the end- actually becomes tea-like and a little astringent. Overall easy drinking, but it might be a bit past its prime. A bit better than average for a Steam/Common. agl108 (1307) - Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 14, 2007
