3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
My first Orlison brew. I was immediately taken with their can’s design. Well done. Stands out amongst the local breweries who often have fairly homemade looking artwork. Has a light citrus aroma, beautiful amber color and crisp carbonation. Solid malt backing with hints of caramel within the pale malts. Very drinkable with a lot of flavor. Wouldn’t have blindly guessed this was a lager. Look forward to trying their other offerings.

toasted malt and caramel aroma, underscores by light grassy hops. Mouth is thin, but taste is crisp, good malt & hop balance. OK overall. Can.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Undated pint can at $2.49USD.
Pours with a clear copper colored body that has good clarity and that is covered by a foamy, light beige head. Plenty of lacing.
Off aroma and flavor indicate a bad batch. While the can is undated, this was a recent arrival at my local beer store, so I’ll blame the brewer. The malts are almost completely masked in the nose and largely masked in the taste.
Smooth, medium+ body with medium carbonation.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pint can. Pours a hazy reddish bronze with a two inch tan head that lasts. Taste is of malt, caramel, grain and grass. Malt aroma. Has a thicker body with a malt finish. Overall, a pretty good beer, but I don’t think I would put it in the premium lager area. More of a marzen with the malt, caramel and lack of hops.

16 ounce can served room temp.
Pours a clear copper, 2 finger head of foam, minor lacing.
Caramel malt and grain in the smell...definitely leans towards the sweetish side. A mild butterscotch note or 2. No discernible bitterness to me.
Caramel malty taste with some notes of bread and grain, quite sweet overall as there’s little of a bitter factor here. Okay, right at the end of the finish, I get some sort of orange like flavour. More sips and that orange does permeate nearly every step of the session. Nice.
Almost medium bodied with adequate carbonation.
This is getting old. Yet another tasty Lager from Orlison. lol.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from can to glass. Amber hue with creamy off white head. Aroma is caramel, sugar, slight sulphur. Mouthfeel is nice with a light body and zesty carbonation. Taste is dry throughout with a slight estery following and caramel sulphur finish. Overall this is an interesting brew.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
16 oz can bought from "Lifesource" in Salem OR
Called Lizzy’s Red Craft Lager here.
Pours a pale copper colour with a large boisterous creamy off white head.
Smells like an English ale.tobacco, leaves, bit of nuttiness..nice .
Taste has a bit more hop bite but its the same as the aroma..slight sourness and a dry earthy finish.
Palate is fine..lowish carbonation and medium mouth feel.
Nice beer but if I had this and not seen the can I would have thought it a old style English ESB/strong bitter!!
