Poured with a large, foamy, frothy, cream colored head that lasts a long time and lots of lace. Color is a clear amber with a couple of large bubble trails. Aroma is bubble gum, bananas, caramel, yeast. Flavor is like the nose and underplayed, which is nice for a change. Body is good; ditto carbonation. Finish is like flavor and super easy to drink. Bravo to the brewers! GG (2332) - NorCal, California, USA - DEC 31, 2011

A new beer found at BevMo, and while it’s a bit on the pricey side it’s a really nice beer. Aroma is squarely set on a sweet/malty profile. I got a nice helping of vanilla/brown sugar/caramel chews. Flavor has more of the fat, chewy/sweet malts. Slightly spicy. After about mid-pint some overripe fruit come out. Clearly a sweet beer, but it’s enjoyable. But then again I love sweet beers.

>> Pours hazy deep brown orange, odd color, bigger cream colored dense foam, okay lacing. Nose is fresh lemon, no off character, light flowers. No mustiness or dark fruits to hint at BSA. Taste is heavy caramel syrup, alcohol, sugar. Finishes a bit soapy, white alcohol, some dessert thickness. Very interesting, almost a barleywine, tons of toffee. Drinkable, hides the abv well.
>!< no Belgian yeast; don’t serve a 8.2% beer in a pint glass
Bottle from BevMo. Pours clear copper with a foamy off-white head. Mild aromas of malt and hop. Medium plus body with foamy carbonation. It’s malty. It has yeast/spice. It’s identifiably Belgian, but the flavors aren’t so crazy as many of those. It’s a good ale. Finishes a bit floral and mildly spicey. Note: the body thins as the carb leaves. Bottle 0,33L. Hazy amber colour with medium big, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is mixture of malty and hoppy substances, like caramel, cookies, vanilla, lemony citruses, orange, etc. Taste is moderate bitter with strong spicy and hoppy note. Light to medium body, watery texture and soft carbonation makes it refreshing and easy drinkable, despite the high alcohol content. Stuu666 (13660) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 17, 2014

Toffee and herbal hops aroma. Light amber, off-white head, good lace. Sweetish, toffee, herbal, light malty. Light alcoholic. Interesting, flavourful. English yet not English.
Bottle. Pours clear burnt orange, with a small head. Aroma of bubble gum, crème brulee, candied orange, caramel. Mouthfeel is creamy, with delicate effervescence. Flavor jumps out sweet and stays, but with a good array of sweet orange-pear, bubble gum and caramel that makes for interesting sips. Hid the alcohol well; nothing sharp about these flavors. Personally, I would have liked to see a bit of a hop twang on the finish to “round” the malty sweetness more, but what do I know about people’s palates in Italia? dwyerpg (6230) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 28, 2011
Not much in the aroma. A little thin in the appearance. This is good, but definitely a sweet beer. Great for sipping and sharing, but the sweetness prevents drinking this regularly.
