COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In contrast to all the others, the Orval Trappist brewery makes only one beer for the general public. It has an intensely aromatic and dry character. Between the first and second fermentations there is also an additional dry-hopping process. Through this the beer acquires its pronounced hoppy aroma and extra dry taste.
Bottled at 5.2% abv - can go up as high as 7.2%

11.2 oz. bottle. Bottled on 7/17/2015. ABV - 6.9%. Pours a hazy deep gold hue with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is green grapes, funk, mild brett, sour fruits. Taste follows nose. A bit tart, cherry notes. Fairly dry finish. Really good.

One of the most flavorful brews that I have been fortunate enough to try! My go-to for a nice, solid Belgium Ale.

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2018 Como una Karmeliet pero más seca, y al más de sabor a rebozado. Pero en plan bien. Aunque no mejor que la karmeliet. No comas nada mientras la bebes.

Pours hazy amber with a low off white head. Aromas of caramel, gooseberry, green grapes, farmhouse notes. Taste is herbal and floral with light honey and bready notes and mineral and esters. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

This is my all time favourite beer, if I really had to choose only one. Love the complex phenolic profile.

I don't know, this beer is interesting for sure, a classic none the less. But i can't put myself to really like it. I find it filing and corny after a sip or two. Positive: it's very nice to look with it's big head and a nice colour, it has a unique aroma.

Bottle - good pleasant aroma. Slightly cloudy amber with large white head. Good palate. Very nice tasting - slight yeasty, slight like a wheat beer. Good finish. Enjoyed.
