4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Where Do I begin? Of the 6 trappist beers I had, this one was my favorite. It may be the furthest thing from the traditional Trappist, however it is a gem. It pours a cloudy orange/reddish tinted color with a nice white head. the aroma is one to be compared to a cocktail of wonderful scents. Lemons, citrus, cinnamon, melons, bananas, and BEER. The taste was light and crisp and hoppy. It was quite carbonated and refreshing. Had a great finish and nice light lingering bitter aftertaste. It was truly ideal. Great beer, I had my few for free, Thanks Rob!, but well worth whatever the costs are in a store!
0.33l bottle. Cloudy orange color with huge white head. Every time I poured it it has risen high again. TBT basement aromas, yeast, mix of herbs and fruits with even some cheese aroma. Taste is bitter, but there are like three kinds of bitterness that change over the time. Aftertaste is like smoked beer without the smokey part, woody, almost salty. RoJo28 (115) - - JAN 5, 2018
Fresh and fruity, with a strong, dignified palate. It’s a posh person trying to stifle their enjoyment of a song, standing still and straight, with just the occasional tap of the foot.

Cloudy golden brown appearance with a lively head. Yeasty sour fruit smell - which is more pleasant than it sounds. Bitter slightly salty taste - but balanced with an undertaste of dried fruit and nuts. Lovely on the palate - medium body, with a subtle carbonation and a long finish. A lovely well crafted beer
