Tap at BD Brum, 8/5/14. Orange/blond pour, offwhite head. Nose of Belgo esters, clovey spice, sweet citrus, light caramel. Tastes moderate sweet light bready caramel malt, moderate bitter spicy hops, light caramel sugary action, lots of sweet, spicy yeast notes. Body is medium full, carbonation is medium. This doesn’t quite hit the spot for me, not dry enough, not light enough to do what other comparable Belgians do. The flavours are all there but not brought together with the subtle elegance of the better examples. slowrunner77 (12456) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 25, 2014
"Comes in a can/bottle screwcap hybrid. In Knicks colors!! Pretty straight forward strong belgian with candi sugar, caramel, a bit of spicy yeast. Pretty straight forward, but quite good. Hid the abv well." Travlr (25517) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 25, 2014

Sample @ Oskar Blues in Asheville during RBWG. Hazy amber with a small head. Loads of active Belgian yeast on the nose. Fruity esters dominate. The taste has some new world hops. Mild cantaloupe and citrus fruits. Somewhat bitter, mildly sweet. Medium body, very active carbonation. Not my thing, but decent.

Keg at brewdog Aberdeen. Atoms is candied berries, Belgian yeast and honey malt. Some plasticy phenols. Nice rich red amber coloured pour with halo of off white head. Flavour is sweet caramel honey malts, slightly meaty Belgian yeast and herbal hops. Palate is semi sweet fullish bodied with lowush carbonation. Earthy spicy hop in the finish. Tasty enough but a bit too sweet. dhunter151 (590) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - JUN 8, 2014
