Greg brought this one back from a trip to Colorado. +++ Sampled from a 16 oz twist off can this beer poured an orange-caramel color with a medium sized foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was musty, bretty, bready and had a candied golden fruit presence. The flavor was tangy pear, apricot and bread with faint brett and must underneath. The finish was long, bready, bretty and had lingering golden fruits. Fairly full bodied. Very well done. Crispy34 (496) - Texas, USA - OCT 14, 2012
Out of da cask! The aroma is sour to me. The appearance is great. The taste is sweet, and not as sour as i figured it would be. Good beer, overall. Would buy some more.

Yeah good. Oskar blues, what did you expect? Deep blood red amber. White foamy head. Weak malty nose with a little funky sweetness. Smooth and sweet beginning balanced by a hefty bite and yeasty, bitter finish. Screw red stripe! Hooray Oskar Blues! rollinsr (704) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - JAN 10, 2014
Pours copper with virtually no head. Aroma is very faint but it is sweet, floral, and fruity. The flavor is very crisp and clean reminiscent of fruity cream soda. The alcohol is hidden very well beneath the light candi sugar. I always expect great things from OBs and have never been disappointed. ajtrupp (340) - Broomfield, Colorado, USA - AUG 23, 2013
I honestly never saw the color of the beer because of the awesome Alumi-Tek can. I will assume it is an 8/10. This is a sweet Belgian (but not at all boozy, even though it clocks in at 8.0%), with a spicy finish. Nice plum and malt tones.

On tap at Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours amber with a thick beige head and a fruity aroma. There is a hearty caramel malt flavor with some yeasty banana ester and a dry bitter finish. tribefan3521 (5) - Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2012 does not count
This belgian style ale poured from an alien ship bottle was full of dried fruit aroma. The spiciness of the belgian yeast was definitely present as well. The taste was close to the aroma. The texture of this beer was fabulous. Very good offering. trujahwarrior (510) - Monroe, Washington, USA - JAN 3, 2014
On tap at Duck Island Alehouse on new years eve 2013. Pours a slighty hazy dark amber brown color with a medium off white head that leaves good lacing. Smells of belgian yeast, belgain candi sugar and doughy bread. Tastes of the same things in the smell with sweet burnt sugar flavor almost like baked beans. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy with good carbonation. Pretty good colaboration. A nice sweet and hoppy american style belgain stronge ale. I was glad i was able to try this rarity on tap. drsordr (2635) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - FEB 7, 2014
Can pour at brewery. Copper color. Nose Belgian ester, fruit, bubble gum sweet. Taste similar to nose, more spice and ester in taste. Bitter spicy finish.
