RATINGS: 2693   WEIGHTED AVG: 3.71/5   EST. CALORIES: 195   ABV: 6.5%
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume.

Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can?

Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can’t, where flavorless canned beers don’t belong. And no matter where you drink Dale’s Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Was very pleased with this beer. Had it right out of the can...so I know...not the best for quality commenting on the beer. I can’t get it around here...had it in Dallas, TX last week while traveling. Nice and hoppy...great flavor. Will worth the price!

Tall cans are a bit much for this type of beer, 2 had me well past halfway there! Has all the bitter/aroma hop balance you’d expect in a pale but with a managable finish to keep it sessionable. Nice colour and consistant through the 4/5 places I had it .

355ml can from Tesco. Medium sized white head disappears quickly, good lacing. Clear amber body. Nose is resin, pine, caramel. Flavour is caramel, resin, grapefruit. Good bitterness on the aftertaste. Medium carbonation, spiky mouthfeel, nice little bit of chew. Very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Pours clear copper colour with at least 3 finger tall off white head. Aromas of citrus and woody hops with some pine deep down in the glass. Flavour is mildly piny, light malt and a good amount of hop bitterness. The malt has a short finish with the hops going much longer.Medium bodied and very soft feeling on the tongue.

355ml can. "Canned on 10/03/16". Purchased 01/06/17. A classic LCBO two month wait before seeing a shelf may have affected the freshness of the hops, but it’s decent. Pours clear and the colour of honey with a creamy light beige cap. On the nose, British-like caramel malt profile, resinous hops, pineapple, and heavy mineral notes. Taste wise, crisp hard water, caramel malts, light citrus, and metallic hops into more mineral crispness, resinous notes, and citrus pith in the finish. I would LOVE to try this fresh because it almost comes across as a Fuller’s London Pride/American Pale Ale hybrid, and as a fan of both styles I mean that very much as a compliment. Here’s to Ontario’s 100 year old liquor laws! Huzzah!

It pours copper with amber highlights; the head is off white and foamy. The aroma has notes of: toffee, grapefruit zest, mango, and cereal. The taste is lightly bitter. The palate is light bodied with medium carbonation, and has a short finish. Overall, it’s meh.

6.5%ABV. Pale Ale. Poured out amber. 12°SRM. Nose is malty sweet, orange maybe a hint of pine. Mouthfeel is soapy. Palate has toasted malt with toasted grahams, honey on wheat toast, barley or multigrain toast. Hops are bitter melon, deep heavy grapefruit peel, resinous, sappy. Finish is long with a pronounced back of the tongue lingering bitter. Overall a big big hoppy ale, whose ginormous grain bill will largely go unnoticed. It’s really what allows you to really appreciate all of that hoppy complexity. Goes on Favorites List!

Can. Pours brown/amber. Aroma of caramel, bread and citrus. Mild sweet with moderate pithy bitterness. Nothing exciting here.

Draught. Pours a clear amber gold with a medium white head. Aroma is floral hops with some citrus and caramel malt. Taste is caramel up front with citrus underneath and light resin and grain in the finish. Moderate bitterness. Medium body. Somewhat above average carbonation. Oily, slightly sticky mouthfeel.
