COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume.

Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can?

Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can’t, where flavorless canned beers don’t belong. And no matter where you drink Dale’s Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

Can pours a light orange with a full white head. Taste is malty, with a semisweet graininess, and a long hoppy finish. The hops are very present, somewhat fruity, but bold like an imperial pale ale.

This is one of my favourite beers to enjoy while hiking in the Everglades or anywhere in the South Florida sun.

My favorite beer for golf and doing things on the go. Packs a nice hoppy taste without being overpowering. Why anyone would settle for a flavorless light beer when this is available almost anywhere is beyond me. Grab one and head out! Solid taste and packs quite a punch! Enjoy! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16 ounce can at the house. 15th anniversary can for my can collection and looks nice. Canned on 05/10/17. White medium head with film on glass. Hazy amber/orange in color. Some floral and pine to the nose. Medium mouth feel and well balanced. Taste some pine and citrus. Pretty smooth on the palate, with light pine after notes. Pretty nice pale ale that is a little thicker and has a little more hops added to this brew that most in this style. Cheers!

UPDATED: NOV 1, 2017 It was good and had that beautiful Pale Ale appearance with great carbonation. That being said, it was a little unbalanced with Hops and uninteresting use of hops for a Pale Ale. I still liked it, but there are better.

Can. Despite being 6 months out of date, this beer kept up pretty well. Some old dry hops sticking to the palate but it isn't too musty and is overall a fine beer.

UPDATED: OCT 27, 2017 Just a good pale ale. I’m not a huge fan of IPA’s but this isn’t that bitter and tastes great

Not impressed at all. I'm a massive fan of American Pale Ales in general but this one felt like a mass-produced approximation of an apa. Aroma promised something that the taste did not deliver. Too sweet, not balanced at all. Weak tasting ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Good beer. Not really my cup of tea. Ok. Little bitter. Needs to be very cold. Wouldn’t drink more than one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Clear, orange, frothy, tan foam, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, oily feel, soft carbonation, & long finish.

From Oct 2006 oured from 12oz can a hazy reddish gold with a large head of foam The smell is all kinds of hoppy with notes of grapefruit and some grass. There's even a touch of sweetness from the malt in the nose. The taste is big on hops up front with the grapefruit noted in the smell though the grassiness plays a minor role. Midway through there's a good caramel malt sweetness that offsets the hop bitterness nicely creating some really good balance but..the hops take over again near and through the finish. Other notes: the body on this pale is really good and the drinkability, despite the 6.5%abv, is very high for me. Bottom line: This is a great APA! 'nuff said!
