COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume.

Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can?

Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can’t, where flavorless canned beers don’t belong. And no matter where you drink Dale’s Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

I happen to be lucky enough to live in an area where this is available. Pours a nice amber color, decent head that lasts about 1/3 of the way through. Very hoppy - sweet taste. The alcohol doesn’t overpower the beer, either. I highly recommend trying this brew.

A little too hoppy for my taste. I've never been a fan of frogs, or rabbits for that matter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

caramel, cereal, resin, citrus, amber, clear, frothy, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, creamy, average carbonation, bitter.

Remember trying this when I was younger and hated it, but now that I can buy it at the local tesco for £2 it’s great. Rye and citrus all around. Very well-balanced between smoothness and bitterness. Like a rye-DIPA without the bite. Solid go-to.

(Oskar Blues Dale’s Pale Ale) Tap at ’t Taphuys, Arnhem. Deep orange colour on the body, huge and thick, off-white head on top. Aroma has some malts, caramel and a bit of biscuit. Taste has caramel malts, light citrus, biscuit. Pretty bitter finish. Medium thin body. Not bad.

This thing is crazy pale, but I can see why people are digging it. It leaves a noticeable taste in your mouth but the more you drink the better it tastes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pine and grapefruit aroma, a bit of toast. Pours amber with tan head, pretty dense. Taste is hoppy and resinous up front, classic taste, pine, a slight pithy astringency. The malt pretty dry too, bread crust, and a good fluffy velvety palate. Light bodied but a bit of chewiness from the hops, not quite a "session" but nice compromise between PA and IPA.
