COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with hefty amounts of European malts and four kinds of American hops, it delivers a blast of hop aromas, a rich middle of malt and hops, and a thrilling finish. It weighs in at 6.5 % alcohol by volume.

Why squeeze such a big brew into a little can?

Because we think fun in the great outdoors calls for great beer. Our cans go where bottled beers can’t, where flavorless canned beers don’t belong. And no matter where you drink Dale’s Pale Ale, our can protect it from light and oxidation far better than bottles do.

Northern Brewer for bittering, Cascade and Columbus for flavor, and a big, post-boil addition of Centennial for aroma.

12-oz can. The beer is cloudy and golden with a tall white persistent head. Very good lacing on the glass. It has an excellent bold aroma: malty and citrusy. Taste is equally big. Nothing understated here. Medium sweetness at first but immediately overwhelmed with hoppy goodness. And the hops just don’t quit. Long finish. Medium body. Overall I loved this beer. I would rate it among the top American ales I have tried.

Puszka 330ml. Lekko metnawy miedziany kolor. Piana biala o drobnych pecherzykach, opada dosc szybko. W zapachu owoce tropikalne:dojrzale mango i marakuja,w tle cytrusowe nuty. W smaku solidna cytrusowa goryczka ,ktora przytlacza owocowe nuty. Slodkie elementy ciagna sie po kubkach smakowych przez chwile by zniknac w grejpfrutowym albedo. Wysycenie male.

Can from Antenna America. Pours bronze with a great lasting creamy beige head. Decent sweet earthy malt aroma, plenty of pine hopping, citrus. Big malt forward flavour, full earthy and caramel toffee sweetness, backed up by punchy piney bitterness. Full slick mouthfeel, aggressive bitterness for the style. First two-thirds were great but that final third wore me down, those big hops got a bit much, and the heavy malts stifled any sessionability.

Imperial pint can. Grapefruit hop citrus aroma with notes of caramel malt and pine resiny hops. Pours clear copper colored with one finger of tan head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with grapefruit hop citrus flavor with a good caramel malt backbone. Finishes dry and smooth with some pine resiny hop bitterness cutting through but not overpowering the other flavors. Pretty nice pale.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2017 This has long been a go to for me. Currently enjoying a stovetop can at a BYOB bbq joint. It a got a nice malty backbone with a punchy bitterness that pairs well with the sweet and smoky flavors that i have going on right now. Good beer for any situation and a staple session beer for me.

Can from Tesco Aviemore. Raises the question - What is a pale ale anyhow? Nothing about this ale seems pale. Certainly doesn't pour pale. A clear copper gold with loads of bubbles shooting up the glass and a fluffy off-white head. The nose has a light fresh fruity nose with a sweet caramel backbone. A citrusy sweet lime and orange with a prominent floral edge. The flavours have a similar composition to the nose with the sweet caramel front followed with the citrus and floral edges. The beer feels medium to light with a sharp fizz making it very refreshing. It's a sharp sweet fruity and fresh ale that has a building floral bitterness reminding you this drink means business.

Can’t believe I’ve never rated this beer. Tried it for the first time in 2010 and had it many times since. Aggressive hoppiness, very bitter finish, but the malty backbone keeps you coming back for more.
